Same problem here! Seems like I am having a light period every week since I started really losing. Annoying since I have Mirena and haven't had a period for like 4 years.

I would probably try to at arrange for a ride if you can. I am 18 days post-op. I drove again at one week. I probably could have handled it fine at about 5-6 days but my hubby wasn't comfortable with it. I think you're cutting it close as to how you will feel. It really could vary for how you feel. I didn't take any prescription painkillers after 5 days post-op. Definitely could not have driven safely on the prescription pain meds they sent me home with.

Did you do a 3 month or 6 month program? Do you have a surgery date scheduled?

@@dwachel May I ask what's your bmi? According to my Aetna paperwork. You need bmi of 35 with co-morbidities or 40 with no co-morbidities. Not sure what a TIA is?

I gained two times during the 3 months. I did have a net loss. I don't know why some people get denied. The paperwork I saw from Aetna said that it was only a net loss. It did make the wait for approval more stressful but I would rather know what I am up against.

@@Crosby It is definitely confusing. According to my plan it just says a net loss. I was just so nervous with all these people who were denied. Aetna is strict but sounds like your doctor office is on top of things! Good luck!

Just called Aetna...APPROVED!!! I started the 10 day liquid diet today. Surgery next Thursday the 13th.

My poor husband. I am stressed already waiting for the news from Aetna. Then add hunger and stress of a strict liquid diet. He might have to hide!

I just called Aetna. They received my paperwork last week and it was entered in their system today. Could take up to 15 days. I hope it's sooner. I'm supposed to start my 10 day liquid diet Monday. I don't want to start it for no reason and then again I don't want to delay things if I am approved. Ugh.
