  1. Btw. Sorry. Hit enter. Ensure is good too. They have it to me via the hospital this time around. It’s so expensive though.
  2. Premier protein has always been my favorite. I like chocolate and salted caramel over ice. I found vanilla fair life and love it too. I’m not a vanilla fan but I put half scoop of chocolate in and love it. Isagenix birthday cake is amazing too. Wish i could find a good birthday cake brand without ordering from them.
  3. Bruising maybe!? Itchy!? How about Arnica Cream. I love it for bruising.
  4. Had revision on 5/27 - 4 days ago started feeling sick and vomitting up bile. Horrendous pain. I couldn’t get liquids down. I had the same issues with the sleeve though even years out. Water bothered me all the time. Had to do sips all the time. Other liquids not so much. But nothing stayed for. Surgeon requested a ER visit so Off I went. Turns out that something was going on. Had a contest ct scan but was normal as it was on Saturday when I had one for my large hematoma. I just had lapro again yesterday as some of the scar tissue was giving me an issue. Was only 2 weeks. I hope this was just a flukr. They said sometimes it happens I am Hoping to go home today!!!! And this is the restart to things to come. I know some have said you lose your restriction. Sleeve was better with that. I find restriction but could that be cause it’s a new surgery? Hope all is well.

  6. Thanks. So I had CT. Didn’t show anything of major... they are admitting me though. They think I’m inflammed. They are giving me meds and if that doesn’t work than maybe an endo in the next couple days.
  7. Back in the ER!!! Called the docs office today due to horrendous bile regurgitation and nausea/vomiting. Horrendous!!! Woke up with it. Couldn’t get rid Of it. Called the surgeon. Going to see if I’m dehydrated and another CT Scan to see if the hematoma is causing issues. Hooked up to IV now, got some nausea medicine and vitamins. Waiting for the ct scan.
  8. Morning everyone! Revised 5/27, feeling great, had post surgery visit yesterday - all is well, besides the hematoma - posted a topic the other day - but all is well .... surgeon isn't that concerned. Yesterday morning, I was woken up by this weird feeling in my chest, sat up fast and boom - acid vomit - light green bile looking. Didnt think anything of it till today --- same thing - this time I didn't vomit but the acid/bile or whatever it is - is horrendous. I thought, or I was hoping, that the revision would take care of this - and this is worse than before the surgery -- fluke? I'm on Prilosec, but normally that doesn't work for me, so the surgeon gave me Protonix yesterday, which I love... always worked, as did Nexium. What could it be? Could it be lack of food? should I maybe eat something before going to bed - even if protein shake? Thanks - hope all is well with everyone!!!

  10. Followed up with the surgeon today. all is well... he isn't too concerned w/ the hematoma and told me what to do - ice/heat/tyenol - watch the spread, make sure no fever, will be worse before better.. normally it doesn't show up after a week or so, but he said it happens... Otherwise, keep doing what I'm doing TY all for the support!
  11. Hi all. I’m okay. Thank you!!!! It’s a hematoma from the incision site. They gave me a CT SCAN with contrast. Use a heating pad and Tylenol. I follow up with surgeon tomorrow. It’s spreading which they said it is good and it’ll stop. I think that we realized that I went to bed and might have laid on my side accidentally which in turn the blood pooled to the incision area. So I guess I have to sleep On my back :-) Thanks everyone.
  12. I’m here now. Vitals done so far.
  13. I am asking my husband now to drive me. I can’t even lay down and get comfortable.
  14. Here. Don’t be Squeemmmish lol
  15. Very strange. Completely nothing last night. Woke up side hurt and looked. Omg it’s huge and as the day progressed it’s gotten wider and seems to stick out. I did contact when it got larger. He said If it bothers me def go to ER. How do you feel!?
  16. Nope. No thinners.
  17. So I was revised 5/27. I’m feeling great... went to bed and awoke with a horrendous bruise on the left side of my belly button ... incision site. Didn’t have a bruise when I went to bed. It’s hard large and painful. Feels like a baseball underneath. All the others are greenish as it’s been over a week. I called the emergency service for my surgeon and his associate called me back. Just said if no fever it’ll be okay. ER if I want but with COVID unsure I wanna go but I had surgery and everything was impeccably clean. Maybe CITYMD. maybe it needs to be drained? ??‍⚕️

  19. THANKS!!! be well
  20. Nope, no rush just don't want to miss something!! I figured it was very similar to the sleeve. I did have some pureed soup today and I'm doing just fine. I'm getting my protein in, shakes. it's going to be hit or miss this time around - differently than the sleeve I'm sure. Since there is no digestion in the stomach or food sitting, I'll be harder to figure out what I can and cant have. I just honestly can't wait to have an scrambled egg or egg white LOL I bought ground turkey for my family, but I aint going to do that ... I just cant see myself pureeing that! LOL I'm able to sip a bit more now which is great *hydrate* and i am better w/ the headaches which were horrendous last week, but I believe they were caffeine related.
  21. I am 7 days out now from a revision bypass. I am feeling pretty good. Out of shape it seems but I know it’s major surgery. I had a umbilical hernia repair on top of it. Caffeine withdrawal headache was a killer but it has pretty much subsided. My thing is, is my diet protocol the same as the sleeve. Can you recommend a site or a possibly printable friendly list. It seems I have to be more careful this time around. One the hernia heals I think I’ll be doing a lot better. My nutritionist wasn’t this helpful this time around and I go back to the surgeon on Monday and also the 25th. Thanks.
