  6. I take my multivitamin, calcium, iron, b50, D3 all from bariatricadvantage.com
  7. I use to do weight watchers and it was a weekly weigh in. So I kinda keep that mind set and it let's me be accountable for my weeks effort or down fall. So Monday morning after using the washroom. I also have a scale that syncs with my phone to document it.

  9. Yes that is normal. You have water and gas in you so you will the scale a little higher. Give it a week to 2 weeks and you will see move down. I gained 10 pounds from the surgery and two weeks after I was down 15. Give it time you will see.

  12. I understand, I'm 4 months after surgery and I can't stand ranch dressing, shredded cheese, sour cream, and coffee. I can't stand the way they smell and they taste the same way.

  14. Well if seems to be dairy that i can't stand the taste or smell of. But milk is the exception to the craziness. I guess it will get better.

  20. I don't know if anyone else is experiencing something really strange happening. But I am experiencing things smelling and tasting really strange. It seems to be shredded cheeses, my yogurt, and my decaf coffee. All these things I ate before having my bypass revision but now they all have this strange smell and taste which is kind of nauseating. When did I mention it was Greek yogurt that has this smell. I also found that I order a salad from Wendy's and the dressing smell the same way and taste the same way. Can explain what the smell or taste is but it's weird that all of these different things have this smell and taste. Has anyone experienced anything like this?
  21. Thanks. Today was a good day didn't feel sleepy today. But I hope I can sleep tonight it seem my incisions hurt at night. Yes I am 13 days out.

  24. Has anyone had a issue with naps in the middle of the day since the surgery? I find that I am sleepy throughout the day and then at night I can't sleep. Today is the first day that I'm going to try to stay up and not take a nap to see if that helps me sleep tonight. I do no that before the surgery I never took naps in the middle of the day because I was working and never felt sleepy either. When I had my first surgery 7 years ago after the surgery I suffered from insomnia really bad and my doctor recommended melatonin to help me sleep it did help but I find it doesn't help now and maybe it's because of the daytime naps. I just want to sleep through the night and feel rested the next day.

  26. Had revision surgery on 11/19 ,and the pain has some good days and some bad days. I take tylenol every 6 hours and rest as much as possible. One day at a time.
  27. Had my revision on 11/19 and it only been 8 days but still having a hard time sitting up for long periods of time. I have to lay down at some points during the day. I'm able to get my protein in since I have it in everything I eat and drink. So have to say it's not that bad now that the swelling in my stomach has gone down.
  28. Well I am 4 days out from surgery and I'm really over this gas. I thought I was going to be able to do my job today but i can't sit up for long periods of time so I may need to take this week off. See how next week feels on my belly. I'm able to get a nice amount of protein in over the past two days home. Been having a hard time with water but this protein water helps alot. One day at a time.
