Wow today is my 1 year surgiversary!!!! I am down 110 lbs down and I feels so good..

Today is my birthday!!!..26 has never felt so good...I am a little over 3 months post surgery and down 65 pounds. it feels good to see my body and my life transforming. I am so happy I made the decision to get sleeved. HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE! !

So I haven't been on here in awhile but I am happy to give you all an update. Since surgery I am down 35 lbs. I feel so good and full of energy. I go to the gym Monday-Friday for about an hour and a half sometimes 2 hours if I feel good. The elliptical is my best friend...Lol.. overall I feel good and love working out and seeing changes in my clothing size. I started back to work last week and it's been good. I was a little tired in the beginning but I've picked up my momentum. Overall doing well and I love my sleeve

went to my follow up appointment and my doctor says I lost 20 lbs in a week..I LOVE MY SLEEVE...all my walking is definitely paying off

Hello All!! Just thought I would give a quick update..today I'm a week and 4 days out...I'm feeling pretty good for the most part. the only pain I experience is the pain in my right side from where they pulled my stomach out.

Just got the news I am being DISCHARGED today..woohoo..

so 3 days post op and I am doing and feeling 100% better. my fluid intake is great my pain is under control and I no longer have nausea. I am walking good and over all I just feel good

Surgery went well. I am in pain but the nurses are really nice and trying to get my pain managed. I don't remember anything from surgery..just speaking to the nurses then waking up

Just checked into the hospital....waiting for them to call me back...I'm so nervous and excited at the same time...

Surgery is TOMORROW! !!!!... My nerves are running wild. I've went grocery shopping..stocked up on all my protein, water, meds etc...I guess I'm READY..PLEASE PRAY FOR ME YALL!!!

So far I am doing good on my liquid diet. Even though I just want to eat, and it's weird because I won't be hungry I just want to chew because I haven't chewed anything in the last 2 days..lol..but I can't wait for surgery I know this is going to change my life for the better

4 day's till surgery. Last appointment with Dr. Juarez before surgery is this morning at 11:30. Then I have to do my pre-op labs at the hospital and register today

Received a call from the hospital today!!..check in time at 5:30am..surgery time at 7:30 am...last pre-op appointment with my surgeon tomorrow! !!!..

Next Monday is my day...One more week. .I'm so excited

Almost surgery time...under 2 weeks..9/15 will be around the corner..what did yall pack for your hospital stay??

omg...still fighting this cold....I really want to be better before I go for surgery...

so almost 2 weeks before surgery I get a freakin cold. Ugh..runny nose..sore throat..and a ear ache..and all I can take is Tylenol..ugh shoot me now

And this girl is APPROVED!!!!.Yay I am so happy and relieved that I finally got a date. September 15th is around the corner..

Since I am currently awaiting for my insurance approval I think I should start buying some protein supplements and shakes. What would you guys recommend? Looking for something high in protein and low in calories and sugar. Preferably sugar free. Any ideas??

After calling none stop and bugging my surgeons office they have finally received my psych assessment and called this morning to tell me that my paperwork is being sent to the insurance. FINALLY!!! and they say it will take about 5-7 days for a fax back. I'm excited that part is done. Hopefully everything goes smoother now

Well I went to meet with my dietitian today and it went pretty good. I am now officially done with all my requirements. On a bad note I was told by my surgeons office that they hadn't received my assessment from the psychological evaluation. Mind you that was done on 7/24/2014. So I had to call and wait for them to find my paperwork and say it had gotten misplaced but they will fax it over today. I sure hope they do so my surgeons office can fax over my paperwork to the insurance tomorrow (fingers crossed) I'm just starting to get impatient and just want my surgery date already..lol

Feeling a little excited tomorrow I meet with the dietician. Not too sure what to expect, Can anyone give me some ideas? And also excited because this will be my last requirement so my information can be submitted to my insurance )))

what's on my mind? ?..hmmm...I wish this pre-op process went a little quicker. ..

looking forward to hearing others stories regarding their surgeries. what they've gone through prep and post op.
