Hi surgery twin! I too have had 2 stalls at this point. I broke each of them by doing different things. My first one I broke by stopping my Protein Shake drinks. I got my Protein in with food or mixing the powder in meat chili or Soups. That did wonders. This second time... I upped my calories up to around 1,000. With working out and running, my body needed more. That broke my second stall. By measuring food, I only ever eat 3 -4 oz per meal... if that! Just know stalls happen! You're doing great! It hasn't even been 3 months yet and you're averaging 2lbs a week! You got this, it will come off, your journey is uniquely yours! Just shake some things up a little, relax, and know you're supported!

How many calories are you eating? Are you meeting your Protein goals? I use the Baritastic app which my hospital recommended. Not sure if you can use it without a hospital affiliation code or not (you may be able to, and it's free). It's great for tracking food calories and protein, carbohydrates, and fat.

Membership at the pool already applied for, new Speedo in my gym kit. Walking 2.5-5 miles a day anyhow. Fired the dog walker and will be adding that in too.
    Goddamnit, March!

I started this thread 11 months ago. I am back to report that in May of last year I started gradually falling off my wagon mostly due to the expectations of others and because so many (not here but in real life) mocked my WOL and guilted me and I fell for it. My own fault but it is hard to stay strong and put self first. When you fall off besides weight gain I find that I get depressed eating carbs and sugar and am just not happy at all! It is like a deep dark hole that you don’t know how to get out of it and the vortex of eating for comfort and carbs just keep sucking you in.

I gained about 25 back of the 35 I had lost last spring. I am re reading what I wrote above to get myself back on track with baby steps.

I never read some of these comments before so will comment now that I never had experience with met forum as was never diabetic (though close). When I am a carb eater I do get shakes and ravenous however and “need” a fix or feel nauseous.

I did not want to advertise my “failure” but decided to do so to let anyone reading to feel they are not alone if they also struggle.

Only seeing success stories can be depressing when you are struggling so wanted to let everyone to know to keep fighting the good fight and never give up!

Wooohooooo! Great thread!!!! TY @sideeye for starting a thread that will hopefully make sense to all the Sophomores, so they find a home here with us!! Wooot!!!
Sorry to be MIA. Swamped yesterday and through tonight! So not much time to play--just a "union-sanctioned coffee break" to rest my feet/back from massive cooking efforts 2%er semi-homemade shenanigans for a party today at my sissie's house!
Will be back tomorrow to post like the ho you know I am! ha!
Ok WELCOME home @Orchids&Dragons (don't know why that won't tag--hmmm--are you REALLY here?)!!! We missed you and were slightly terrified you were gone! I had visions of you goin' postal and rippin someone a new a-hole...but then I had to laugh, cuz I could only see my bobblehead on top of your skinny minny little body! *snort* You are too sweet to go postal on anyone!
I did an official weigh-in. I too am up. Too many holiday craptastic-filled meals and wine. But tomorrow the days of atonement begin and the march to victory resumes! I have 30 days to lose 25lbs. Can it be done? ha! (Hint: Who am I? bahahahaha--I have 3 days to lose 25lbs before my surgery. I'm really askeered. Will I still be able to have it?)
Jan. 1, 2019 CW: 151.4lbs (up 1.4lbs over first goal, up about 3 over lowest wt); Waist: 29.5inches (no change)

As @FluffyChix stated in the original thread:
Not a Newbie but not yet a Vet - Sophomores have different challenges and are coping with an awkward middle stage, so please only post if you've passed the six month post-surgery mark!

    Thank you, @sideeye !
I did an "official" Jan 1 weigh-in this morning. Even though I backslid a bit over Christmas, my official total loss for 2018 is 114.2 pounds. Looking forward to hitting goal in 2019!

One immediate thing you can do is clean. Clean your pantry, refrigerator, closet, bedroom and lifestyle in general.
Figure out what is causing you to eat not terribly, but also not amazingly.
Switch up the quality, organizing, prepping, cooking, and storage of your food and guaranteed some auxiliary weight will fall off.
Also motivational challenges boost your resolve to get back in the game. Then reset and try intermittent fasting also
You can join this challenge if you're interested !!!

I'm also having some regain and really upset about it AND I know better because I was given the information! That's totally on me but now I need to get back on track.
Someone mentioned the Intermittent Fasting. I'm not really sure about that one but only because I don't know enough about it. There is also the 5 Day Pouch Test to sort of reset. http://www.5daypouchtest.com/plan/days1_2.html
Note that it is meant for only 5 days.
Then get back to basics though it sounds like you don't have the basics.
Let me see if I remember them.
    Drink a LOT of Water.
Stop drinking 30 minutes before your meal.
Don't drink anything during your meal.
Start drinking water 30 minutes AFTER your meal.
Your meal should be about 30 minutes. Not longer. Take your time.
Strive for 70-100 grams of Protein per day (1 oz of meat - 7 grams of protein if I remember correctly). I can't seem to open my file right now but there is also a standard for grams of Fat and grams of Carbs per day. I'll repost when I can get to it.
ALWAYS eat protein first. Lean protein is best.
When you eat, cut your food into pea-size bites and chew chew chew.
Put your utensils down between bites.
    Breathe.
    Exercise.

Those are the things i can think of for now.
Best of luck and I hope to join you on trying to get it all back!

It is a shame that you were given so little support back then, but that's history and you can't undo the past. There are a lot of support groups now. Is there one in your area? If so, get to a meeting. You'll find other vets there who can share their challenges and successes.
Follow up with a bariatric surgeon in your area, even if it's not the one who performed your surgery. They can help. If you get their pre/post-op eating plan, go on it. Pretend you're doing another surgery, but just follow the plan. Even if you've stretched out your pouch somewhat, it's still nowhere near the size of your original stomach.
You can try intermittent fasting. There is a thread in the forums with a lot of information and some people to talk to. If you search, there are several other threads, as well.

You can regain control, but don't put it off. Now is the time to act. Good luck!

You may be able to get a decent quote by going to same surgeon for all procedures, however my understanding is a reputable surgeon will not do a Tummy Tuck and a Brachioplasty/arm lift at the same time.
You see a lot of tummy boob combo and arm boob combo but not a lot of all three.
