Just waiting for the insurance. It's been an long annoying hoop filled road but Cigna finally should have it in their hands. I will start harassing then soon. But come to find out may be everything happens for a reason. My bff mother has been put on a death watch so I may have to take an 800 mile trip(very) soon. She is 94 and my son calls her grandma so it's going too be hard. I tell ya I'm so ready for this Damn year to be over.

Get a screen test from the drug store. If you pass you should be okay for the real thing. Keep drinking lots of water to help flush your system. If you only did it once then it's probably not still in your system. Now if they do a hair screen you might have an issue. I don't imbibe but I have lots of stoner friends

Why do doctors have to be such buttholes? Unless you are or have been in our shoes no one can comment on your quality of life or health. Some of us have more hurdles than others but you are NOT a wls survivor. You are an inspiration. I would love for skinny doctor (mine is the wls surgeons psychologist) they see you once or twice and think they know you to walk in our shoes since they've never been through the physical and personal pain and stigma of being a fat person. He (and your friend) need to be supportive. You're already going thru scary stuff you don't need the extra stress. I personally, tho I'm sure he's a good doctor would seek another opinion.

I always say I'll be sending healing thoughts your way. I appreciate anyone's positive thoughts in any way I can get them.

Donuts, cake and pastries. I can put 6 donuts away without even thinking about it. Oreos? A whole package easy.

I want to get the pressure off my knee replacements that I already had to have because of my weight and arthritis. I want my back to hopefully not hurt as much. I want to take another cruise because the first one my knees hurt so bad I didn't have as much fun as I should have. And I want to wear an amazing sequined dress

The house won't fall down if it gets messy either. Take the time you need and don't worry about things that can be taken care of later

Make a couple weeks worth of casseroles. The hubby and kids are not gonna wilt away without you. Pizza and at worst a couple nights of spaghetti ohs isn't gonna kill them.

I'm trying so hard to get done before the end of December. I'm going to start my preop diet next week so I can be ready to go if someone cancels.

Does your surgeon ofc have a nutritionist or ofc manager? Start with them. Share you concerns. Have you been writing down every piece of food you put in your mouth? Go back to the pre op basics. Lots of water . I hope this helps

When I was 40 I didn't have comorbidities I do now even tho my weight hasn't gone up much since then. The pressure on my knees started and then everything just went to hell. My bp is horrible without meds. My knees have been replaced, I'm teetering on the edge of diabetes and I just feel lousy. Surgery can not come soon enough for me. I'm waiting on approval and have to continue my psych till it's done. Only you can make the decision but I wouldn't wait for the trouble to begin if you can avoid it

Finally had my last appointment with the nutritionist. Waiting for my psych release. it can't be filled with my insurance company until the 25th so after that we will see what happens. They have 30 days to answer. Not looking like I'll get it done in December unless they okay it quickly. I hate that I'll have to pay all those co pays again. I've lost 18 lbs on my own.

Yeah I've been avoiding the food porn networks. I hate it. I love to cook and be free to use whatever needed for those recipes. I am trying to sub better food choices

I have been jumping thru hoops with Cigna too. It sucks but it's a game you have to play to get what you want. It was the psych eval that tripped me up too. I will tell them what they want to hear to get what I want. I'll go to their dr visits and do what I have to to get this surgery. I know, what is best for me, I hate that they think someone who had seen me on a bad day or week(my brother died and my psch appt was 3 days after his service and I was emotional big time. I'm almost there and was hoping to get it done before the end of the year but unless I have a miracle it's not looking like it'll happen till January. But copays be damned it's gonna happen. Get back on the wagon and give them what they want and do it for yourself

Jillian is off of it(I've heard because she encouraged a contestant to get way thinner than she should have tho I didn't see it myself and they have a much nicer female trainer now but id like to see the majority of the past contestants and where they are now. Not just the select few they have on the show that I've seen. I don't even know why I watched this season
