  11. She has softened her view on the band a little. Now saying discuss with your doctor what is best for you. Had a few people ask generic questions like what happens if you start to gain back. He advised was just a tool not an end all be all. Talked about Rosies heart attack, recovery time and showed a power point of what they do during surgery. It wasnt anything you wouldn't learn here

  13. Mine is 2 weeks, and I have to buy the bariatric advantage from the dr ofc. And vitamins. 300 bucks plus my co pays.
  14. Ok. Peace. Breathe in and let it out slowly. Get it of your head and think how great your gonna look and feel, breathe in again and let it out slowly. Make sure your walking. You know it not as bad as the hysto. You can do this. Think of the most beautiful outfit that you want. If you can't sleep then go on pinterest and look for cute outfits. Just breathe sugar....

  18. I am also 50 and my surgery is scheduled for March 2nd . I wish I could get hubby to do this with me.

  21. Omg you have been to hell and back. I'm sorry I came so late to the post. I'm just horrified for you. Healing thoughts and prayers being sent. I lived in Tampa for 25 yrs and just moved here(ky) a few yrs ago. I wish I was there to help out. I hope they can get this worked out for you.
  22. I like the flavor of the bariatric advantage stuff but the texture of the quest shakes is better to me. I'm wondering which one I'll tolerate better after surgery? I really have issues with texture (my whole life) like I love tomatoes taste but can't eat raw tomatoes.
  23. I had one unbiblical one when I had my hysterectomy, an hiatal one that let loose and was probably as sick as I ever want to be in my life. And I will have another repaired during my surgery on March 2nd
