Bra sales, yay or nay to shop pre-op?
Not long after surgery I bought 3 pairs of underwear in the next two sizes down. I actually bought a package of Hanes at Dollar General the other day. I haven't yet tried them in, but bought a package off the rack on clearance because I could!

I feel devastated..
Since inception, we've allowed members the ability to edit their posts for 28 days. I've changed this to 5 minutes. Also, updated the OP's name. I need more than 5 minutes to go back and reread my posts and fix the typos! Edited because: mi Unites is not the same thing as minutes.

Is it ok
Are you getting in all of your Protein and fluids? Taking your Vitamins and supplements? Exercising? What does your NUT and surgeon think of your progress? Everyone is different and the numbers on the scale are relative. Embrace the Stall http://BariatricPal.com/index.php?/topic/351046-Embrace-the-Stall

Food items to have Post Op
For the clear phase, I really liked ProtiDiet liquid beverage concentrates (they gave me some in the hospital), sugar-free Popsicles, sugar-free jello, crystal light/Mio drops, decaf tea, etc.

Social Isolation
I am an introvert with extrovert skills learned over decades. In thinking about some of the dangers of isolation is that we lose any outside influences, cues, examples, etc. of how things could be different.

Social Isolation
"Getting a hobby" may not be THE answer, but it can be an answer or at least a way to be involved in social interactions.

Please help...
Absolutely no regrets. I am a little over a year out and a little over half way to goal. Another good book is: "Eat it Up!" by Connie Stapleton.

Shower + Incisions
I was told not to submerge in water until my incisions had completely healed with no holes. It was about 4 weeks or so.

Creative foods for newbie! Howdy y'all!
I love this! I am so sorry for your loss. Congratulations on your news! As to your original question, early out I ate pretty simply: lots of Greek yogurt and cottage cheese, turkey, tuna, etc.

Workout regimen-What's yours?
It is easier the less you weigh. But, the sooner you start exercise the better you will feel and the less you will weigh. Start where you are and as you improve and become more fit, the better you will feel.

Stall & disappointment
You are swollen and healing. You were pumped full of IV fluids in the hospital. Just focus on getting in all of your Protein and fluids. Please stay off the scale of you are going to let it drive you crazy.

Stall & disappointment
Yes, it is normal. None of us lose at a constant or steady rate. Everyone experiences stalls and slow downs in weight loss. Just about everyone e experiences a stall about three weeks after surgery. Stalls are a normal, natural, and necessary part of the process of losing weight. Just follow your program. Focus on getting in all of your Protein and fluids. Take your Vitamins and supplements as directed. Stay off the scale. And, Embrace the Stall http://BariatricPal.com/index.php?/topic/351046-Embrace-the-Stall

How do you drink 32-60 Oz of liquids?
Sip, sip, sip. Have something with you at all times and keep sipping. Set short-term goals (ex. Drink 8 oz when you get up in the morning, drink another 8 oz an hour later, etc.). If you have difficulty drinking plain Water, try different temperatures, water enhancers, decaf tea, Herb infusions, etc. You need at least 64 oz of Fluid.

Veggies
I would wait until you are cleared for all foods, and even then carefully try one new raw vegetable at a time.

Need prayers please.
You can go to counseling with or without him.

Social Isolation
I am watching the supersized version of My 600 Pound Life (Chay/Lola and Pauline). One of the subtitles they put up just said that: some researchers believe that social isolation is more detrimental to health than obesity and immobility. I can see where that could very well be the case.

Shower + Incisions
I didn't have gauze or tape, just super glue. I was told I could shower, just not to rub the incisions.

PLEASE HELP!
You could add avocado to your tuna and/or salad. You could add cheese. (Just about everything tastes better with melted cheese!) You could add a snack of Greek yogurt. Instead of a rice cake you could eat turkey, cheese, some nuts, or other similar protein. Or, put some Peanut Butter on your rice cake. (A good practice is to make sure to eat protein with your carbs.) Or, put peanut butter on a piece of fruit.

I don't think you can bake with some of them. I know some (like Unjury) are sensitive to high heat.

PLEASE HELP!
I get over 70 grams of protein a day. I drink a Premier Protein shake faithfully every morning. At 10 I eat a protien bar. Those 2 alone are 45 grams. lunch is either tuna or chicken or a low calorie soup and supper is ALWAYS chicken breast which is 30 more grams. What is the average calorie intake I need at 13 months out. I never have been above a thousand Sent from my SM-S820L using the BariatricPal App At 13 months out you should be getting most of your protein from food.
