Very few calories.. Stalled weight loss, and the not full feeling
Yes, you need to cut yourself some slack. Almost everyone experiences a stall about three weeks after surgery. Just focus on getting in all of your Protein and fluids. Embrace the Stall http://BariatricPal.com/index.php?/topic/351046-Embrace-the-Stall

In securities
Have you considered couples counseling? Therapy? Have you been including him on things like your nutrition classes, appointments?

Soft food phase
Why throw out the yolk? That is where all the nutrition is located?

At what point does the obsession stop?
You didn't mention Protein at all. Are you able to reach your protein target within 800 calories? When you say you are trying to fit whatever you want in 800 calories, what does that mean? I agree that 800 calories seems very low and unsustainable. Appetite suppressants seem like the last thing you would need. You don't need to be starving yourself. The great thing about my sleeved life so far is that I get to eat smaller amounts of delicious, nutritious, high quality food and be satisfied. A therapist sounds like a great idea. You may also want to consider OA, too. The website, OA.Org, has meeting lists, literature, and even podcasts that you might find useful.

You want to take health advise from Coke?
Yeah, but this is true!

My friend and I had surgery the same day but...
Just be a supportive friend and do you. You can only take care of yourself. Hopefully, they can see positive results from your example.

Hard to believe
Best of luck. Let us know how you are doing through the process. I do hope you are doing this for yourself and your health, and not because of unrealistic expectations from your mom, though.

You want to take health advise from Coke?
Coca-cola is a marketing company that sells sugar and water or fake sugar and water, or just water (Dasani anyone?).

Taste buds
For me, at a little over 1 year out, the answer is: yes and no. Yes, I can taste the flavor of food. No, some foods just do not appeal to me any more. It is like I have a more sensitive/refined palate.

One month post op and stuck in a stall...
There is nothing wrong with having rest days. As far as I am concerned I need them.

One month post op and stuck in a stall...
I know your NUT said not to change anything, but 600-800 calories seems REALLY low.

Stress-induced Weight Loss
I am so sorry you are experiencing this. I am convinced that many of my issues with food/eating are directly related to how I deal with stress. I am so glad to hear that you and your husband have an appointment for counseling. You have already received some great advice. I would also recommend you do something nice for yourself. Maybe schedule a massage and/or do something creative -- take an art class or something similar. (These are my latest solutions for everything!) Sending hugs.

My 600 Pound Life: 2016 Season
I have been singing "Copacabana" under my breath ever since seeing Lola's episode. It was so great to see her gain confidence. It was also great to see Pauline FINALLY turn a corner. Her fear was so infuriating.

Puréed Stage: what are you eating?
Why? Regular food is more nutritious and tastes better.

1 Year After Surgery, Still Going Strong!
Wow! Congratulations!

You want to take health advise from Coke?
More proof they are running scared as people start to figure out how bad their products are for us. If they would be happy with the profits of people drinking an occasional Coke it would be one thing, but they do nothing to discourage people, especially children, from becoming addicted to their products. Edited because eating is not drinking.

Weight Loss Surgery and Constipation: The Key Ingredients
This is a great question to ask your NUT. Immediately after surgery it is hard to drink a large volume of Water at once, but that restriction lessons as you heal. By the way, this thread is a couple of years old. You may get better feedback of you start a thread with your specific question. Best of luck.

I need HELP making this decision
This sounds like a great question for your surgeon.

Healthcare Exchange: States that do not cover Bariatric Sugery
I believe you are correct. It is my experience that the non-Medicaid insurance in Kentucky doesn't have it. Of course, if our new so-called "Governor" has anything to say about it the Medicaid coverage will probably go away, too.

Long night in the E.R. - didja know y'all are my peeps?
Scary. I am so glad it wasn't something more serious and that you got it checked out. You are my peep, too!

Had surgery on Tuesday and have 2 questions
I was able to reach my protein target pretty soon after surgery. It took a while longer for me to be able to teach my Fluid target. Fortunately, I was able to count all my fluids (Protein shakes, ice, Popsicles, etc.). Just keep sipping. It does get easier.

Weight loss stalls
I agree that you may not be eating enough to support your exercise intensity. What does your NUT suggest? Embrace the Stall http://BariatricPal.com/index.php?/topic/351046-Embrace-the-Stall

Weight regain sleeve vs. bypass
I would like to see a comparison of people with malnutrition between the sleeve and RNY. I bet that is a more interesting comparison.
