Confession time! ( exercise related)
I am a big fan of swimming, but unless you have a pool at home that probably wouldn't work for your requirements. I know some folks really like the couch to 5k training apps. You could also try some exercise or dance DVDs.

Fluids log app?
I use my MyFitnessPal. But, frankly, I no longer log my fluids. I have several Water bottles. I have a 24 oz that I fill with crystal light, etc. and a 30 oz I fill with water. I try to refill both daily. If I refill just one, then I am over 64 oz. (For instance 2x24+30=78.) Anything above that, tea, a glass of water at a restaurant, a 20 oz water bottle at the gym is a bonus.

Can 4tbsp of skim milk count as a meal?
If you can drink four tablespoons of milk you can drink four tablespoons of premier protein and then repeat. You need to focus on getting in your protein and fluids and not worry too much about labels. Early out you may just need to sip all day until you reach your targets.

Not ready to embrace another stall!
Not passing out is a good thing! I am so glad you are feeling better.

What was your preop diet?
Mine was similar to Atkin's Level 1 (high protein/no starches, sugars or carbs). The day before surgery was clear liquids.

Packing for Surgery...
Definitely take a pillow so you can hold it against your abdomen on your ride home.

Pre-Op and Post-Op liquid diet
I like it. I would suggest you get samples of any Protein supplement to try before you invest in large tubs. You can get sample packs from unjury. You may also want to get a sampler assortment of Syntrax nectar to try. One of my favorite clear Proteins for my clear phase was ProtiDiet liquid Beverage Concentrates.

18 months out and I've hit a wall!
Have you talked to your NUT about your goals and challenges? I would suggest that you go back to basics and focus on your Protein and fluids. Are you exercising? Embrace the Stall http://BariatricPal.com/index.php?/topic/351046-Embrace-the-Stall

I am terrified.
Chances are pretty darn good that you will be just fine. My sleeve surgery was my first surgery ever so I had no idea what to expect. The surgery was the easiest part of the whole process for me. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, recovery, and progress so far. You are going to have a fabulous life! Best of luck tomorrow. Keep us posted on how you are doing.

Pre-Op and Post-Op liquid diet
Carnation breakfast essentials are relatively inexpensive. GNC oftentimes has sales. You can also save money with a membership. Premier Protein periodically goes on sale at Sam's Club and Costco. I stock up when they have sales.

No friends
I am so sorry you are disappointed in your friends. I am a big believer in giving folks the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they aren't sure if you are up for visitors. Have you reached out to someone and asked them to stop by? Once you are recovered from surgery, you will have an opportunity to widen your circle of friends. In the meantime, take care of yourself and don't be afraid to ask for what you need. You may not always get it, but if you don't ask you most certainly won't.

Protein bars?
I am a Quest fan.

WLS and Eating Disorders
Her emphatic statement that no one who has WLS gets to a normal weight was a doozie.
-
So excited I cried...
Congratulations! In case you didn't get recommendations for clear Protein, I like ProtiDiet liquid beverage concentrates. Bone broth is also a good source of protein that is clear.

Will I like the new me?!
I am doing all sorts of things (not necessarily "new"). I am getting my life back and thoroughly enjoying it.

DID ANYONE WISH THEY HAD, OR DID TAKE VERY CREATIVE BEFORE AND AFTER PICS?
A while back, someone posted a photo of her standing by a pile of potting soil bags that matched the amount she had lost. I don't remember who it was. It came to mind last week when I bought a 20 pound bag of potting soil last week and could barely lift it (granted it was wet). As an aside, someone on Facebook posted a picture from her film noir photo shoot. I want one of those when I get to goal!

WLS and Eating Disorders
What was disappointing to me was that there are so few resources for us. Good eating disorder therapists for obese people, let alone for those of us who have WLS are rare. It's not WLS/bariatric programs that are behind the eight ball in my opinion. It's therapists who have the specialized skills and knowledge to work with post-WLS (or even pre-WLS folks). To hear someone who specializes in this area seem so close minded is just disheartening. I still think that many of us can benefit from a good therapist or counselor. I just wish they were easier to find.

WLS and Eating Disorders
It is the dogmatic attitude that got me, too.

NSV: Bathing Suit
Never owned a bathing suit? Inconceivable! You must correct that right away! The biggest bathing suit I ever owned was a size 32. I am currently in a 22 (top) and 24 (bottom). I have never not had a bathing suit. I would go crazy if I couldn't swim.

ex husband frustration
I agree with everyone else. Document, document, document. Also, have someone with you when you go over there or are around him. You need a witness. If you feel unsafe, you can also call law enforcement to be there while you get your stuff. Be safe and take care of yourself.

WLS and Eating Disorders
I am sharing this video even though it made me mad. I was expecting it to be more helpful than it is based on the fact that the website that posted it is one that I normally respect. Instead of helpful, I found it condescending and almost mean spirited: especially in bashing weight loss surgery and online communities. What do you think? What do you wish she would have said instead? As someone who has had WLS and may still be struggling with food addictions, what kind of help do you need? What, if anything, good did you learn from this video? http://www.fitwoman.com/blog/2016/04/28/bariatric-surgery-treatment-binge-eating

Diet question!
If think by my 7th week I was cleared for most food. I probably still ate a lot of Greek yogurt, cottage cheese. Turkey, tuna, refried Beans, etc. My Protein target was and is 100 grams of protein.

Plateau
You have lost 47 pounds! Celebrate. None of us lose weight at a constant or steady rate. We all hit stalls and plateaus periodically. Stalls are a normal, natural, and necessary part of the process of losing weight. Embrace the Stall! Embrace the Stall http://BariatricPal.com/index.php?/topic/351046-Embrace-the-Stall
