Hi All, I am also going in for surgery tomorrow (Jan 2)! I am very excited and hope everything goes smoothly (pray my liver is small enough!)... I am nervous but it is an excited nevous knowing this will be the start of a great year of health and smaller clothes!! I wrote my weight loss goals last night and when i get down to my goal weight (around 70kgs) I am going straight out to buy a pair of Sass & Bide Jeans... sounds silly but that and my approaching wedding in March 09 is going to keep me focused on my goals! I am an Aussie girl and I am having my first appointment in two weeks with the nurse and doctor in preparation for LB surgery. I have decided this is something I want to keep quiet as this is for me and no one else. I have told my partner and he is supportive. How long should I expect to have to take off work? How long is the usual hospital stay? then recovery time? I can't wait! I have been considering this for a couple of years and am ready to go! I Hope i dont have to wait too long until I am booked in to surgery!
