  1. RJC Thank you for the reply. I am desperate. I will mention this to my Dr. I am afraid I am going to end up losing my job one day.
  2. Hello, sorry this is going to be long. I hope someone will have advice. I had Rny in July of 2014. Since surgery I have been extremely exhausted. I have had my blood work done. Many times. My hands and feet go numb. I have a vibration in my left foot that feels like I am stepping on a cell phone on vibrate. Sometimes I get dizzy even when sitting. And my feet will sometimes just not work. It's all mostly in my left foot. Sometimes I have a hard time lifting it and it feels like it's not there. I also get body tremors. Mostly my hands. Sometimes my whole body. They have tested my bloodwork, did a CT scan looking for ms or brain cancer. They have done an emg. I have seen a neurologist whom looks at me like I'm insane. I am about 10 pounds under my goal weight. And I either keep losing or stay where I am at. My bariatric program has high turnover for all their staff from Dr's to secretaries so I have been doing all my follow up with my primary Dr. I take a multi Vitamin, Calcium with Vitamin D, Biotin, fish oil, b12, and Iron ( iron every other day so I don't get constipated) potassium and magnesium. I was doing them all twice a day but my neurologist took me off of them all to see if I was having a reaction. I added them back in once a day myself because i started getting horrible migranes. I juse added b complex and a vitimin d pill to see of that would help. So far it helped with body tremors but my hands still shake and I still have all other symptoms. I'm tired of seeing Dr's. I just want to feel half way normal. Any advice would be appreciated. Sorry it's so long.
  3. Angel I eat whatever I want. Just a few bites. Maybe try that?
  4. I have my shakes as my breakfast and my lunch. Then eat whatever my family is having for dinner.
  5. I have noticed that too! I just thought I was getting sick or an ear infection and then it would go away! Never even thought it was weight loss related...thanks!
  6. I sip on my Protein shakes and on my Water all day long. I work in a call center so I'm sipping on either through out the day. Usually in the 8.5 hours at work I take in 32oz of water and 24 oz Protein shake. I don't wait 30 mins before or after with shakes.
  7. Thanks mrsaizsha! Mostly it is all diet. I drink a Protein shake for Breakfast and one for lunch and eat whatever my family eats for dinner. I eat whatever I want just a small amount. I do try to walk at least 2 miles a day but wisconsin weather has not been so nice to me. I am trying to get into some sort of exercise routine. But so far I haven't figured it all out yet.
  8. here is my before/after so far! I feel like a new person!
  9. way to go for you too! I am also doing my first 5k! But I am doing it on the 21st for the breast cancer race for the cure.
  10. 2 months ago today I had my surgery. Today I hit my first goal of losing 50 pounds!
  11. I do not track anything. I am never hungry during the day so I drink 2 protein shakes at work and eat whatever my family has at dinner. Then I usually have some string cheese or cottage cheese or some kind of lite snack later in the day
  12. My surgery went well I was set to go home after 2 nights and then I had a bad reaction to the morphine and had to stay 2 more nights.
  13. Great job! How are you drinking so much? I am fighting to get enough fluids in and I sip all day long!
  14. I am getting over 70 grams most days. My Dr said to get 85-90. So that is what I have been trying for.
  15. My hair is falling out a lot too. I am afraid to brush it. I have been taking Biotin for a long time. Like 3 or for months pre opt. I hope this passes quickly.
  16. It's ok Angel. We had a big formal dinner with my husbands company last night I had half a glass of wine that lasted my all night and a bite of cheesecake that was heaven. Today I weigh 2 pounds more than yesterday. So now I have to step it up today!
  17. I had a rough first 3 weeks. I am at 6 weeks now and I feel great. Besides not being able to eat much I do not feel like I had surgery at all. One morning you will wake up and just feel good.
  18. I guess I didn't get real good guidelines on eating. I didn't know I should eat 6 times a day. I was given stages and such but that is about it. My first Dr retired during my 6 month Dr supervised diet so I got a new Dr on month 4. I work in a call center. So I make 2 Protein shakes in the morning and sip on them and Water all day. Then I eat dinner with my family. Usually I have to have a bite of something a bit later in the day too. Usually string cheese. It has worked for me so far.
  19. I had surgery July 9th. I had a rough start. I had a reaction to the morphine which caused me to stay in the hospital for 4 days instead of 2. I also developed am infection in one of my incisions. Everything is cleared up and I feel great. I am down 40 pounds. I am back to work full time. I walk 2 miles on my breaks during work and walk some more when I get home.
  20. I bought 2 huge bottles of liquid Vitamins. I opened it up. Smelled the and gaged. I can't bring my self to drink them. Right now I have gummed. I least until this bottle is gone. Then I think I'll switch to prenatal ones. If anyone wants liquid vitamins from GNC let me know.
  21. I had bad dry mouth too. Idk if I had bad breath. No one told me I did lol. I didn't get thrush from surgery but I did get my first ever yeast infection. That was not fun!
  22. I had a lot of pain too. And developed an infection right after. I was asking myself. Why did I do this?? And then one day the pain just went away. Stay strong! It is with it! I am 6 weeks out with no pain at all and 40 pounds down.
  23. I just went to a buffet for the first time since surgery (6weeks) last night for my youngest daughters birthday. I had a couple bites of steak some veggies and a spoonful of sugar free chocolate pudding. I most likely didn't get my Protein in for dinner. But I didn't over eat, eat too fast, or get sick. Of course I didn't "get our money's worth" on as much as I ate. However it wasn't about that. It was about spending time together celebrating a birthday. I have wasted money on far more stupid things.
  24. Joybell Thanks for the encouragement. I guess I'm kinda in a blah mood today. How are you feeling? Are you doing well? I had a nasty infection in one of my incisions at the beginning, but now I feel pretty good! No pain from the surgery anymore just an itchy incision that is healing. This one is taking longer to heal because the opened it back up. Nice to know another with the same surgery date! Keep in touch!
