    HELP TROUBLE after all my FILLS

    i can certainly relate to you.....i recently had a 1cc fill put in under a barium swallow test (2ccs and nothing would go down). I now have a total of 6ccs in a 10cc band. I had this done now for 11 days. The only thing I can get down is liquids and sometimes that can be tough. I have tried to have more solid foods but everything just comes back up for hours! I have been miserable. The only positive thing is that i have lost 8lbs. Called the surgeons nurse and she told me to wait till monday and call if I am still having any problems, that they would unfill some on tuesday. She said it usually takes up to 2 wks for the band to relax a little and that I should be able to eat something more then. So I am undecided as to what to do...i am thinking that I will wait another 2wks to see how I am doing then. My doc only does fills on tuesdays, and if i dont do it this tues than i will have to wait another 2wks as i work a wk on then a wk off.......so its either this tues or 2wks from now.... anyhoooooo, i hope you try to get some little sips in, as thats exactly what i have been doing. good luck, Debbie

    correction....i am using an elliptical, but for some reason i used treadmill in the beginning of my post.....must be on an exercise high...lmao
  5. okay, so i did it! whoohoo.....i became friends with my treadmill today......i finally did it.... okay, so it was all of 3 minutes....but i did it. I have been avoiding it for so long. 3 mins was all i could handle....thats pretty bad. My plan is to get up 5 mins earlier tomorrow and work my way up to 20-30 minutes every morn. Does everyone feel that exercise will help meet their goals? if so, do you and what do you do? Well (raising my glass of water) heres to tackling this new love/hate relationship with my new/old friend>>>>>>>elliptical. hugs to all, Debbie:thumbup:

    November Nymphs Summer Meltdown Challenge

    Hey Holly, you and I are just a couple pounds away from our starting wt for this challenge.....oh btw...great wt loss to date....I am so freakin happy for you. I really hope that by my bandiversary I will hit 100 lbs loss. So for the summer meltdown I gave myself only 15lbs loss to pysch myself. I figure, hit that goal and set another....(shhhhh dont tell me,,,,,lol). So lets work at this together, pump each other up, and help each other up :tt1: u in? I have been on a turtle pace. My doc says i am doing good, but I am personally disappointed. Some ppl have lost way more than me and banded near the same time.....I know everyone is diff, i get that, BUT it is still frustrating. So I need you all to help me get off this butt of mine, and put it in gear. I have an elliptical, brand new (last year), and my husband is threatning to throw outside if i dont use it......:tt1: Okay, so today i promise to you all>>>>>>> i will get on the ellip for atleast 10 minutes.....i will keep you posted love ya's, Debbie

Thats awesome for you......sometimes i think we need to settle down a little and get back to some basics....almost like jump starting the wt loss again....let us know how you made out by the end of the 5 days, and then in a week from then.....just to see if it will stay off or not.   10. Surgical Weight Loss 5 Day Pouch Test This is a web site that i found on another thread,,,,hope this answers your quesitons. I was curious also so i researched it. I believe i will try on my next week off work..... (i work 7 on 7 off). If you try it, let me know how you all do? Thanks, Debbie

I lost a total of 8lbs. I had to have an unfill of .22cc's due to pbing almost daily. He told me that I am doing well, even though i have been feeling a little blue about the whole eating experience. I really do not enjoy going out for dinner as it is scary, painful sometimes, and food gets cold.....just a little whinny, dont mind me...... Anyhow, i am hoping that i reach my 10 lb goal by the 21st, as i lost alot after the last fill, and then gained too:thumbdown: I hope everyone will update soon, to see how we are all doing is very encouraging for me.     want something sweet to eat? try this: 2----6 oz fat free or light raspberry yogurt 1---16 oz lght cool whip thawed raspberries grahm cracker crust mix together and put in pie crust, freeze for 4 hrs. top with some berries when ready to serve. thaw for 15 minutes or until a little soft. Try making with diff fruits/yogurts for a change of pace. I found little tiny pie crusts to make ahead to have when i need something light and easy to swallow! good luck Debbie:thumbup::sad:
  14. Hey guys. I thought maybe I would put my 2 cents in too! I want you all to be very proud of the fact that you are losing, or maintaining too. Plus for those of you who actually are working out as well ------ way to go! Take a step back and look at what you have ACCOMPLISHED since starting your new journey. Do you think you would be where you are today without it....i think not, atleast not for me. One thing to remember too is that it is not just about the scale but more about your movements, your clothes fitting loose, sitting in the lawn chair, bending over to tie your shoe laces in the middle and not on the side of your shoe! Just dont beat yourself up! If things are going slowly, change things up a bit.....try going for a walk with a friend or spouse, kids, neighbor. Drink your Water all day long. Please dont give up, believe in yourself. WE did not take the easy way out. WE are here for a reason..................close your eyes and visualize what your going to look like......WOW is that not an awesome feeling...its not far away, feel it-live it-be it! Now, go out there and walk for atleast 10 minutes! I am not going to say good luck, but just do it :sad: Debbie

Everyone seems to be doing well, i think some still need to update? We stll have 4 more weeks to get to our goal.
