  1. I have never had a fill under flouro.... Good luck with yours!
  2. If people would read the bible through - they would also better understand other religions. It can be a very interesting debate, if people are up to the challenge (which somehow I think you are;)). Maybe over those margaritas some day (or other healthy drinks).
  3. I told everyone from the very beginning. Glad I did.
  4. Hasn't happened yet, but with today's fill I am tighter than I have ever been. Trying to drink water, and maybe I won't bend over. I can barely swallow spit at the moment.
  5. Thanks for the reference - I never heard that one before. Interesting reading.
  6. Too true - I grew up in the Bible Belt, so I have seen many people "believe" by fear. Just most won't admit that.
  7. As I read this, I was watching Dancing with the Stars on DVR, with Seal singing. I love his voice, and was just thinking what an incredible body he has! So to answer the question - I think people should let their feelings lead the way and not worry about what society thinks. Mixed marriages tend to have gorgeous children, IMHO>
  8. Oh don't be shy. Tell me how you really feel. I just try to be positive when I can.
  9. Yeah, reading the responses to my posts are depressing. My timing obviously sucks.
  10. I don't read every post, and my post to Ron was in no way related to protein shakes or anything negative. He went through a period of being very supportive to people, so I called that out.
  11. My apologies, Lauren. I did not mean to speak out of turn.
  12. I've chatted with Lauren both here and OH for some time. She's not a stranger to me, and I apologize if I took unwanted liberties.
  13. That's awesome!!!! <and I need to brush up on my French>
  14. Lauren, I completely understand how that could have felt. I also know that before I went through 2 years of therapy after my father died, that I might have reacted the same way. It was something I had to get over. He was the one and only person to love me unconditionally, ever. When I lost him I lost part of myself. It took a long time for me to be strong enough to be me. And sometimes I get hurt too. But I have to let it go.
  15. I have a big scar on my arm from the last dog bite I received at the tender age of ten. I didn't have to worry about it biting me again because they cut his head off.
  16. My french is rusty... Who's eating the idiot's eyes?
  17. Good thing I have a thick skin. And Lauren, my inbox always spiked with PM's after I did that, from people thanking me for throwing a roadblock in the way of the runaway drama train. If I want fear and seriousness in my life, I think of my young nephew in Iraq, and how scared I am every day that he is over there. He is my 3rd nephew to serve in Iraq, and two have been injured. I love this boy.
  18. Why would I take offense? It's not my reasoning. It cracked me up at the time because that country boy was dead serious, and he didn't try to justify anything to anybody. It was what it was.
  19. I always think of the past as a tether holding me back - so I face forward as much as possible. And if you haven't already figured it out, I see the good in most everybody and it usually far outweighs the annoying.
  20. I think you just came in to OH at a weird time. Statistically speaking, over time you will encounter the same percentage of a$$holes on any given forum. I love OH, hated the drawn-out drama times (fun in small doses), and I am learning to love LBT too. I pay one heck of a lot of money in insurance and co-pays for my health, so I will always trust the expert I am paying. But shared experiences often guide me to ask the right questions of those experts. Oh and I do jump in when my close friends are attacked. LaraNicole is really a sweetheart, but she can be feisty. I had dinner with her last night, and she is doing great. I think she had an ultrasound today - I am so hoping that she can carry this baby to term.
  21. You are one stubborn young lady. Most times I chimed in on a post to turn the temperature down, by posting funny pics or being sarcastic or something. Life is too short to take so seriously! Ok, for ME it is too short, since I am ancient compared to you. I only publicly warned people about advice, when the advice I saw was, IMHO, harmful. I have often sent PM's to advise people if they should check with their docs and not follow blindly to an avatar on a forum. So call me what you will, Lauren, it's ok.
  22. My beliefs are my own, so I won't go into that, but I have to share this.... Years ago I worked with this older guy, and someone asked him if he believed in God. Without hesitation he said, "Sure I do!". He was asked how he could be so sure that there was a God. He responded, "Well, I look at it like this. If I believe in God, and when I die I find out that there is no God, what do I lose? But if I don't believe in God, and when I die I am facing him for my eternal judgment.......woooo doggie! I just ain't gonna take that chance!" Most honest answer I ever heard.
  23. OHHHHHHHHHH!:faint:
  24. No sorry needed. I have a really thick skin. People have never "gotten" me, because I refuse to grow up or follow the leader. I just wanna be me and that pisses people off sometimes.
