I went through menopause and still losing hair like crazy, won't b fun losing any more when it comes time for surgery. Already taking vitamins and biotin 10,000 mcg. Please hair don't fall out anymore!

My psyc eval was long... Asked about my family being on board, well no b cause I haven't told them yet! My daughter is controlling I told him and I don't know how she will react. Asked about my eating habits and why I want this done, I swear he wrote a book out. Was yours covered under insurance? My eval wasn't :-( very costly.

I to will be sleeved around Oct or Nov, more like Nov. My 3 mth apt is this month. Yes the feeling of it being so far away is so real. But everyone says it goes by fast. That means summer is going to fly by and I will miss it lol. Soon enough we will be on the other side. Good luck too you.

For my surgeon it does. He reports he has had too many cases where the GERD was so much worse with sleeve he decided to adopt a blanket policy not to do the sleeve for GERD folks. At first I was disappointed but now I am completely satisfied with going for the RNY..it is right for me. My surgeon hasn't said anything to me about my GERDS. He knows I'm on Nexium and I have a hiatal hernia that he will fix while doing the sleeve. Did say the sleeve would be a good choice for me.

10 wks out and 52 lbs down that is AWESOME!!!

Mine will b in October or early Nov, I have 4 months of PCP to go. Plus the psyc eval and cardiologist. Oh plus get a release for surgery from my pulmonary doctor. Psyc eval is July 3, wonder what they ask you?

I was wondering that also, have come across a few that r locked.

There are 6 tablespoons of Protein powder in each pack, one pack is 21 grams of protein, or 3.5 grams of protein per tablespoon. I use either 1 or 2 tablespoons at a time, depending on my protein count for the day. I sometimes use the chicken Soup flavor one sprinkled on cauliflower or Beans just for a little different flavor. How much of the protein pack do u use? I have some samples and they don't say how to use them.

I'm in the same boat as u, I have Medicare . I went to the first seminar got my hopes up, saw the surgeon there also he was very informative. But didn't talk about any waiting period. I had the surgery consult and that is when I found out I too have todo 6 month supervised weight loss. I even told him I was so excited to get this rolling and surgery over with. The 6 months ugh, it's so depressing. Then I found this site and see many others have same wait and I felt better about it. Now I'm down to 4 months and counting. I get on this site and read so many different post it's a great support site.

Do they have sucralose, aspartame or any of the other artificial sweeteners? I bought some more of the Core Power, it has cane sugar in it and honey.

IDK, I bought one last week to try. I get sleeved in Oct sometime so I've only been getting 1 of some to try before the big day comes. Which seems like forever!

Try Core Power at Walmart, one has 20 mg protein and another has 26gms , I find the chocolate is good.

The H.pylori is treatable with antibiotics. Didn't he write u a script for it? Google it and u can read about it. There is even a place somewhere on this site that tells about it. Good luck

I found a new drink at Walmart called Core Power. It has 26gms of protein. I tried the chocolate it was good. They r a bit pricy though, but if u drink 1 a day to begin with your getting in so much protein.
