    Kidney pain?

I had the same issue and my surgeon told me that the reason for this is the abdominal wall stitch on my left side where the stomach was pulled out of. It will resolve with time.

Sleeved June 9th by Dr. Nicholson at Baylor Plano. Doing great no complications so far. Nice to meet all of you.

    2 week stall

Bets reach deep into your closed and try on something that was too small before and you will be very surprised. I am at 5 weeks post op (sleeved 6/9) and although I may lose half a pound or nothing at all per week I am flying through clothes. It seems like everyday something I wore last week is now HUGE on my body. Hang in there, we did not gain all of this excess weight in five weeks and its definitely not all going to come off in that period of time. Enjoy this journey because at 5 weeks it has already been amazing.

    Frustration

Try using myfitnesspal to track what your eating and how often so that way it will give you an idea of where you are falling short.

    Chest hurts when I eat

As soon as I get that twinge of pain in my chest it is usually my que to stop eating.

1st week post op protein drink! :) yum!

My nutritionist and surgeon both told me not to eat anything that is fresh such as fruit or veggies until week 6. Rationale for that is that oftentimes "fresh" anything maybe contaminated even if we wash the product. You are wanting to protect your new stomach and let it heal without the risk of food poisoning. As far as the Peanut Butter I was told to wait until the soft food stage and to only eat one Tbs a day because of the fat content. Hope this helps.

Sharp pain below the rib on yhe left side

Every now and again I will get one but it doesn't last very long. My surgeon says that he stitched my abdominal wall on my left side and that the stitch would pop and then the pain would subside. Have you talked to your surgeon?

    Tomorrow is the big day!

Josh your experiences are definitely normal. I am at 5 weeks post op and let me tell you that eventually you will be able to take bigger sips and the reflux will get better. Your new stomach is still very inflamed. Things will get better, enjoy this wonderful journey.

    Muscle cramps

Muscle cramps are also a symptom of dehydration. Are you able to meet your fluids for the day? Hope you start to feel better soon.

    Size 3x scrubs in Texas

Forgot to mention that they are female scrubs not unisex.
  13. I have several sets of 3x scrubs for anyone that needs them. I live in the DFW area. Let me know.

    I barely drink

Try using a 1 oz medicine cup and sip on that every 15 mins to ensure you are drinking your required fluids. Hope this helps.
  15. Hey Dallas_P I see we have the same surgeon. I have had polyps in my stomach diagnosed during an endoscopy and they were removed by the doctor doing the procedure. They were all benign as well. I also had polyps removed during the colonoscopy procedure. Hopefully everything went well during your colonoscopy.
