Yayyy! So glad to hear AmynNc! ???? have you been able to drink anything yet? Hey! I've been drinking my G2 since I was in the hospital. I've actually done really well with it. That's all I've drunk besides a little bit of Water. I've only ate Jello and Popsicles. How are you doing?

Amy I'm in NC too ! Where are you located. I'm in Raleigh Hey Tamsboyd! I'm in High Point. I was in surgery for about an hour and I've gotten up and walked about 4-5 times. I feel good! Hope you're doing well!!

Had my surgery today and so far so good! I feel good! Been up walking and drinking my G2. Hopefully will go home tomorrow!!

Sleep will be hard for me too! if u can't sleep feel free to come here and talk through your emotions, I'm sure we are all feeling similar....I have Been non stop researching all day, it's like I'm trying to reconfirm or convince myself that what I have already decided is the right thing, Silly isn't it! Not at all silly! I've been doing the same thing all weekend! Good luck to you!

My surgery is tomorrow as well! I am a bundle of nerves! I have to be at the hospital at 5:45 am and I don't think I'm going to be able to sleep tonight! Good luck to all of you!

March 16th here! Getting nervous!! But excited!

Hi there! It's been almost a year since I've started this process and I've had to reschedule twice. Now I've had to postpone it again! The surgeon that is doing mine is switching hospitals. So fingers crossed and prayers said, I am hoping to have it in October. I go for my first appointment at the new hospital on Thursday and I'm getting excited! I love reading everyone's stories and support for each other on here! It gives me inspiration and the encouragement to go on and pursue this!! Have a blessed day!!

The pre-op diet makes me nervous too! I'm more worried about that than the surgery! It's just getting in that mind set and knowing how much better your life will be! I only have to do it for 2 weeks and I'm sure they'll fly by. The weekends will be the hardest for me. Good luck to all of you and I know we can do this!!

Hi there! I am new to this and I'm a little nervous about having the surgery. I am scheduled for gastric bypass July 22 and I'm excited and nervous! I have to do the liver shrinking diet 2 weeks prior. Any suggestions for what to do or not to do during those 2 weeks? I'm so glad I found this app and have been really impressed reading everyone's stories!!
