I know how you feel .I'm scared too but I have come to realize I'm doing nothing but cheating myself and my family by being this big .i don't want to do things because I'm to tired or ashamed. I have 100 + lbs to loose this surgery will change our life in such a good way.I want to be able to live again enjoy life to its fullest.I have mine done on Aug 5th hang in there we can do this !

My surgery is august 5th.Been on my pre-opt for 5 days having a hard time the last couple days .yesterday I had a small chili from Wendy's ( thats all i had )and I'm allowed 3 protein shakes and lean meat and 5 cups of fruits and vegs hope I didn't mess up to bad but I'm still losing I lost 8 pounds something must be working.

I'm doing premier protein chocolate and vanilla I like to freeze bananas and Strawberry's and use my magic bullet and make a frozen smoothie.

Yay I'm august 5th too! Starting pre-opt tomorrow things are starting to get real now a little scared but can't wait to get it over with

Hello everyone August 5th here too!! I will be relieved when its finally done and over with my mind is filled with so many what ifs I don't want to change my mind lol I know deep down I'm doing the right thing just scared of something going wrong.Anyone else feel this way ? I have 100+ pounds to loose and want to start living and enjoying a healthy normal life.I'm tired of shopping with my best friend for cute clothes that are a size 6 and she calls herself fat ugh...i like to smack her upside her head sometimes lol while my closet is filled with dark plain ugly clothes.Although im not doing this just to look good I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 27 + years it would be nice to fit into something a little sexy again
