    2months post-sleeve and 50lbs down!

Wow. Congratulations you are an inspiration to us all. Keep up the good work and may God continue to bless you as you move forward with your journey. I wish to have this kind of success soon. Always putting God first.
  8. I see so many successful stories of people losing even 50-100 lbs in the firs 6 months. Now since my surgery date is in December I want to know How you did it ? what routine did you do or try to do that you would recommend for us to do?? I know lots of people say exercise and try to get the Protein down but since so many of you have gone through and have had lots of success I would like your opinion or just describe what you felt worked for you. Can't wait to see some of the replies.
  9. Thanks you to all. This is a great present for me, My new beginning to the healthier me.
  10. Thank you and will have you in my prayers. Wishing you all the best and a call with your date soon.
  11. Thank you and timetochange1621 good luck on your journey best wishes. And Trever930 congratulations on all you have accomplished and will continue to do in your journey.
  12. I'm excited, nervous, anxious and proud of myself. Now I finally have my date to the new me. December 17th. Now leaving everything in God's hands so there is no change to this date and for all to go well.
  13. Once you receive your date it's that your insurance approved it correct
  14. So finally I have done everything through my the Weight center and met with my surgeon for the first time. We agreed on what surgery is good for me and I was sent to do a chest x-ray, labs and EKG. Did everything on my end. Results should be in and now I have to wait. I am not the most patient person in the world and waiting is not one of my strong suits. But I have no choice. Since everything was originally done last week the surgeon's office should be submitting sometime this week. Then by next week I can begin to call the insurance and see what is going on. Hope time flies just want to know
  15. I'm excited I have done the whole weight loss program and now finally get to go meet who will be my surgeon. For those who are not from Worcester, MA or have gone to different programs. In UMASS in Worcester you do your orientation, then intake followed by nutritionist visits ( I had 3) and Psych visit ( lucky for me only needed 1) and then your group meetings which here are 2 meetings. And in between all of this you are to go do any other requirements you were asked to do ( sleep apnea test, ekg, etc). After all of this then the weight center signs off and you will get a call from your surgeons office to do the first appointment with them. Which for me is today! YAY. I'm excited, anxious and hope that he agrees with all that I have done and feels that we can submit so soon I may get my surgery date because I want to start the new me as soon as possible. I have worked hard towards it and feel that I deserve to be a healthier me. Can't wait to see what happens. Wishing and praying for the best. Always positive. And just for an FYI. To all who have been posting your stories on here and have gone through the procedure and are going to go through the journey. Best of luck you all are inspiring many of us and helping us to continue forward with our own journeys and demonstrating that obstacles may come but in the end a healthier us will happen if we continue to push and move forward. Thanks for the motivation.
