I was banded on Sept 4th. My goal weight loss is 50 lbs. I have lost 13 lbs already. I have not had a fill yet. I live in Yelm Washington and am 43 y/o. I was involved in a car accident that resulted in 3 vertebra being fused in my neck and unable to physically work out. The accident was Nov. 2005 since that time I just kept gaining weight. I had to do something before my weight caused more irreversible damage to my body. I have a heart condition that was getting worse with the more weight I gained. I have a three y/o that I need to be health for and live a long active life. This was my answer to my problem even though most of my family and friends did not think I should go through with the surgery.
