  1. can you tell me what kind of things you are eating on an average day?
  2. can you give some ideas of what you're actually eating on an average day?
  3. Thanks for all the posts here. I've been very curious about daily calories with band and knowing how much is enough or not enough. I've read anything under 1200 is not enough and when doing calories needed for my weight and to lose, calculators say I should be eating at least 1500... I've been trying to now eat 6 small meals throughout the day and that puts me at about 1000 or so and I'm satified and not hungry and making conscience choices. Maybe that's the best way??? I guess the scale will tell
  4. I think it's Productive Burping.... kind of like puking, but not throwing up. I've done it!
  5. :ohmy:Hey there, I just found your forum and it sounds like my kind of place. I've lost 30 lbs since I was banded Sept 21, 07and today is Jan 23, 08. Problem is I lost those 30 in the 1st 2 months and then really nothing the past 2 months!!!! ARGGG. Do I qualify to be here? Anyway to get losing again? Thanks, Gayleepoo
  6. Hi there, I was banded in Sept 07, and to date I've lost 30 lbs. Not as much as I'd hoped, but still I'm happy with it! I've gone through a divorce and the holidays in the same time frame and haven't gained weight so that is something to celebrate! My problem is that I puke a lot... a lot. Some days it's worse than others and I'm getting sick of it. My last solution is to just chew up my food and then spit it in a napkin before swallowing. Gross, but at least I get to taste it. Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong or what will help??? Maybe it's the wrong food? Maybe I'm not chewing good enough? too fast? Thanks for your reply to come, GAyleepoo
  7. I'm new to the lapbandtalk.com and reading your note here is very encouraging to me! Congratulations!!! I saw you had a myspace but it is set to private... I was banded Sept 21, 07 and have lost 30 lbs., but nothing in the last month. Not sure what's happened, but I feel stuck. I'd love to know more about your journey. 8. Hi Everyone, Glad to see a Christian thread... I stuggled with the decision to have LB for a while and kept going back & forth about was it right, etc. I did come to the conclusion that it was okay and it's a tool that will help me in my struggle with my weight and overeating. I was banded 9/21/07 and have lost 22 lbs. and that feels great! Jesus loves me banded or not! Take Care
  9. Hello, I had my lapband surgery one week ago today! :clap2: I have felt weaker than I had expected and have a lot of pain inside, but it seems to slowly be getting better. I am curious to learn about other people's experience and how they did with the post op diets. Did you feel hunger the 1st week after surgery? What about all this gas pain? Does it get better? I lost 7 lbs on my pre op diet and am excited to weigh again soon. Please drop me a note sometime! Gayleepoo
