  1. Hey now don't put 'everyone' in the same category, I like "cute fat boys" just fine
  2. @@pinkbunies, Hi there... My answer to your question is yes. I am recently seperated from my husband due to my choice of having the surgery and the effects it makes on our daily lives. Hopefully you will not find your self in an unfortunate circumstance such as mine, but in the end the weight loss is worth all the change that comes with it. Even if it is sacraficing someone you love, somtimes you have to make a choice for yourself. The important people will grow with you and support you unconditionally. Best wishes to you.
  3. @@*Lexie* I have followed some of your posts on here and you are always so uplifting and encouraging Keep your chin up girl and we will push together!
  4. Thank goodness there are people out there in the boat with me! I am 3 weeks post op and am only down about 12 lbs so far. I thought for sure I would have been at least 20 lbs lighter by now, but unfortunately not. On the bright side I am down and not up

    OVER 300 lbs

Hi there! I am also part of the 300 crew lol At consultation I was at my highest weight of 369, surgery day I weighed in at 321. I am already almost 3 weeks post op and have only lost 10 pounds which is slightly discouraging, but I am hoping to change that!

    1 month out weight loss

@lostforgood. Don't feel bad girly, I am 19 days post op and only down 10 pounds.... I am hoping that it will start coming off soon. Hang in there
  7. @@AlanaRN, I hear you on the frustration. I only weighed the one time and was pretty bummed to only see the 2 lb loss so I threw the scale aside and said screw that thing! lol I am going to try and only weigh once a week or every 2 weeks maybe.
  8. Thank you all so much for your kind words and encouragement! I can truly say it has been a tremendous help in my journey so far. Each day gets easier with the divorce underway and my new life ahead of me. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for me and my precious baby boys!!!!
  9. I'm sorry to hear you are going thru this, it is hard not to get discouraged. Are you allowed to have any protein shakes?
  10. Just wondering if anyone knows when to expect to see some weight loss post sleeve surgery? I know that sounds like a silly question considering we can barely eat anything at all, but I am almost 2 weeks post op and am only down 2 lbs. Is that normal? Has anyone else experienced this? Most posts I have seen are showing people lost between 20-30 lbs in their first month.

    1 month out weight loss

@@mamaofmatthew, may I ask what kind of protein you use? I am trying to find something new/good due to the feeling of wanting to gag as well lol
  12. @@Mayaresearchmom, things are going great! Getting better everyday. Just can't wait to start losing weight. How long did it take everyone to start seeing results??
  13. Thank you all so much for checking and cheering me on along the way It has helped tremendously!!! I got in 54 oz of Fluid yesterday, whoot whoot! lol @@VSGAnn2014 I have taken on many of your suggestions and that seems to help quite a bit, thank you so much
  14. @@Mayaresearchmom, I am really struggling with the intake and Protein. The surgeon wanted me at 64 oz and it seems as if I am literally FORCING to get anything over 32 oz a day. Seems like I am sipping all day on Protein shakes and haven't even had much time to think about Water. I am hoping that the farther out I get from surgery the easier it will be to get the 64 oz and over.
  15. 2 days post op and wondering if I am having the infamous "gas pains" or if it is something I should not be overly worried about. Every time I swallow a liquid, be it water/pain meds/ or broth it literally feels like I am swallowing a golf ball and its very painful. Is that normal?? Anyone with his experience PLEASE let me know!! I am no where near where I should be for Protein or fluids and I am only taking tiny sips so I don't believe I am drinking too much at one time but it would be wonderful if I could get some pointers. Thanks!
