  1. I'm the payroll administrator for a county in southeast georgia with 400 employees.
  2. I'm 10 months banded and as restricted as my doc will allow. I can eat any kind of meat as long as it's not dry. I can't do spicy things, or brocolli, bread, pasta, tomato sauces. Nothing solid goes down before 1pm, so I have yogurt or protein shake. PB'd today on animal crackers:ohmy: (pig that I am, I ate them too fast and didn't chew well, was talking to my son..) So even though I'm 10 months out, I still do stupid things...But the band is there yeee haaa!!! So instead of eating the whole bag of animal crackers, it stopped me at 4 crackers. I love my band and wish I had done it years ago....
  3. Hello fellow South Georgians!! Welcome to bandland... Georgia Peach24, I'm only 20 or 30 miles from you... Congratulations on your chioce and good luck on your journey.. Teresa
  4. Well mine went from a 40C to a 38D!! WTF??? Don't know why the cup size went up unless all the side fat is now in my boobies... But hey I'm told they really look good now that I'm a size 12-14.
  5. pnuts mom, As you can see the liver lies on top of the area of the stomach that is to be banded. If the liver cannot be safely manipulated the surgeon won't do the surgery. He sounds like a wise man, so listen to him and try again in 3 months. Good luck!! Teresa
  6. Fran & Salsa, "Weight" to go ladies!!!!! That is just FABU LOST... And Fran, I'm 5'9" and I still have thunder thighs...It's a gift from my grandmother...hehehe!!!
  7. "Weight" to go ladies!!!! I am down 3 lbs as of today.... Walked 2 miles on the beach yesterday. It's been tough though...Don't beat yourself up if you fall off, just hop back on with us, we are still here...
  8. Everything you are feeling is completely normal. I did the same thing. I asked myself "Have you lost your mind??? You are going to have a foreign body placed inside you...What's up with that???" Then I thought about my family... I want to see my grandchildren grow up, graduate from college and get married. Well honey, that's gonna be along time from now and if you don't change your life, it ain't gonna happen... Soooooo guess what? I took a long deep breath and got it together. You need to do the same thing. Think about where you want to be 20 years from now. Will you be healthy?? If you stay as you are now will you even be here?????? You are young and have your whole life to live so live it healthy... Besides Monday is my birthday so that is a good sign... Good luck and you will be in my prayers. Teresa
  9. I weight everyday, just can't help it!!!!
  10. Hello Ladies, I read this thread last night and the light bulb came on!!! I'm on board today, so far 2 scram. eggs with cheese, grilled chicken salad with honey mustard dsg, string cheese snack and fish for dinner tonight. Lots and lots of water. Thanks for this post!!!!!!
  11. Frangipani, What island are you from? St Thomas is my most favorite place in the world!!!!! I haven't been to any of the other Virgin Islands but am dying to go. If the getaway works out, I'd love to be a part of it!! Teresa
  12. Some insurance companies have a 30 day waiting period for elective surgery. I'd call the HR Benefits Specialist with his company and ask.
  13. I too take anti depressants. (cymbalta) Family history of depression too, mom, dad and both sisters. I use to take Zoloft and had been on it for about 15 years. When my mother died about 3 years ago I was in this funk I just could not get out of. Also Zoloft went generic about that time, so I talked to my doctor about 2 months ago and changed to Cymbalta. BIG difference... I still have my days, but not nearly as bad as before. I will NEVER go off of them!!! (possibility of too many bodies to hide) LOL
  14. Hello everyone! I officially made it about a week ago(199.6), but those darn scales keep going back to 200 and 200.8.:smile2: Please oh please let me get to about 197 and stay for a while!!!!
  15. That sounds really great!!! My DD lives in San Antonio, so we could visit with them after the convention. Where is it going to be held?????? What Hotel??? I'm in......:tt1: Teresa
