Haven't had surgery yet but best wishes! I think your anxiety is normal. I know I want to do it yet I still have OMG what am I doing moments. Once I go over my reasons why I'm doing it I calm down. Good luck to you!!

I know what you mean. My dad had kidney cancer. By the end he was just a shell of himself. Painfully sad to watch. Best wishes to you on your new journey! :-)

I'm so sorry that you lost your dad. He was so young! I lost my dad on his 65th birthday 6 years ago. I know how painful it is to go through. (((Hugs)))

I have PCOS too and I was able to get pregnant and carry to term 3 times. Once I got my PCOS diagnosis I started working out and following a low carb diet. Got pregnant within 2 months after trying for 3.5 years with zero success! Spent lots of money on fertility treatments. I bet you will have success as well! Good luck & best wishes!!

My last NUT class is July 9th. I hope to have the surgery soon after. Would like it to be at least by the last week of July. Can't wait!!

I would like to know too. The mocha shake is my favorite! Although I would like to try the premier shakes that everyone talks about since they are higher in protein.

I've posted a little but wanted to introduce myself to everyone. My husband (almost 43) and I (41) are both going through this process together. We started with our first consult in April. I had my EGD this morning and now all that's left for me to do is one more NUT visit. My husband has his EGD to complete and the last NUT visit as well. We started thinking about this surgery a year ago. Could kick myself now for not doing it then. Didn't want to give up my diet coke. Seems so silly now! We have 3 kids, ages 9, 12 & 13. Can't wait to be able to do more with them (and so much more)! Ready to finally live life!! Michelle

Not quite to pre op diet yet but my favorite is Atkins Advantage Mocha Latte ready made shake. I like the milk chocolate and dark chocolate royale too. GL!
