Pre-op appointment, done!

So I had my pre-op appointment today, all went well, lasted for about 4 hours with all different tests. I also signed the consent form :D yay so happy, I should have my surgery date in 2 weeks and I have my pre-op diet details. I'm so ready now! Bring it on! :)

It's so exciting!! I had my pre-op yesterday too! My surgery is next Monday, the 28th! I'm on day two of my preop diet, and while it isn't exactly easy, I know it's all for the better, and in a few weeks I'll be eating "solid" food again :). Good luck to you!!!!!

Good luck girls!!

How long since your first consult with the surgeon to your pre op? I have my first consult coming up on Monday and I'm curious the time frame I'm looking at

I met with the surgeon foe my first consult on January 8th. Insurance required six months of classes. My last class was June 20, and I got my surgery date that day. Insurance approval took about a week (I have united healthcare). Pre admission testing July 14, pre op appt July 21, and surgery is in three days :)

Thank you everyone! I've been on this journey for a few years so I couldn't compare it as mine was adolescence until I turned 18 and now I'm 20, it's finally all gone through! I got my operation date today also, 6th October, bit of a wait but, it's so worth it! Good luck everyone x
