  2. Hi all! I have a stupid question! I am 5 months out and have had no problems what so ever . The last 3 days I have had a bad case if the runs and no appetite. I teach kindergarten so I suspected it was a bug I caught from the kiddos but it is not going away! Now my anxiety is rearing it's ugly head and I'm thinking it may be something worse??? Any thoughts??

Thanks for all the help. I am not going to weigh myself as often
  7. Hi all!! I had my surgery in August and consider myself a slow loser. I have lost 46 pounds since surgery...66 pounds since preop and 86 since I started this journey in April. I got on the scale this am and tears welled in my eyes!! I was up almost 2 pounds! I have not once swayed...avoid sugar all together... Eat fairly Low carb...no bread, pasta or rice. I am scared!! Why am I gaining? Is it normal for your body to do this?? I do know I gave been lax in the exercise department:(. Perhaps that is what?? Any thoughts would be appreciated!!!! Mari
  8. I love following along with everyone's journeys:). I am feeling quite discouraged because it seems like I am a very slow loser:(. Everyone that has had surgery after me has lost so much more!! I know I am not overeating.....but I know I don't get all my water in. I'm in a funk:(. Feel like I did all this for nothing:((((((
  9. Hi all!! I was sleeved August 13th and have been doing well. I am a kindergarten teacher and even returned to work this week. I prepared myself for this new part if my journey but I have to say today is the first day I feel overwhelmed.....overwhelmed because even though I'm not hungry I miss some foods....overwhelmed because nothing fits me any more......overwhelmed because I feel people in my life pulling away because they think I can't be included in social activities because I can't eat. I am on pureed food and having a hard time with the texture of it......nothing has bothered my new belly thank god!! Guess I am just having an emotional day!!!! Thanks for listening:))) Mari
