This close to surgery. I think it's still gas. I was sleeved July 21st. I had gas for a week and didn't experience "hunger" until week 3

I am about 8 weeks out. I think it was hard at first to tell hunger from other feelings. For me there was another feeling that I could easily mistake for hunger. I deduced that it was a very mildly acidic sensation. I was already taking a ppi in the morning. I added Zantac before bed and it has improved a lot. But the most important thing has been to really, really pay attention to the feelings and not automatically assume I was hungry.

Definitely was heartburn for me but took me 6 weeks to figure it out. Now I take acid reducer and I am no longer (ever for that matter) feeling hungry
