Today I stepped on the scale and it said 299. Im 9 weeks post op. Down 51 lbs since surgery and 61 lbs total. This journey is a beutiful one for me and my family. I have set a goal of 210lbs for myself. Everyone says that my first goal will change. Its crazy how all I do is walk/jog 3 miles a day and fight to eat 1200 calories and the weight just falls off. Starting where old clothes again, but soon I will have spend some cash everything I own is getting to big. Well back to work I go just thought I'd share my morning.

    Karen,
I guess when I read that 99.9 % of black people are negative about the things that they don't know it ru s me the wrong why. When you claim your own wont support you, but you wont support your own with giving them some education about a life saving procedure. In my eyes the man that knows and wont teach is just guilty as the man that didnt take time to learn. I hate to break the news, but I heard white people are negative to. Its thousands of Caucasians on this site who cant share there whole story for lack of support or fear of judgement. Ignorance has no color.

Im not sure when this AA sleevers forum turned into a bash our own people page, but not feeling it. Ignorance has no color. It comes from fear, and lack of education in life or on the subject. Lets be honest with ourselves and admitt that you dont or didnt tell others cause of your own insecurity about the surgery. You can't generalize a whole race because your friends and family may not get it. They may understand but your to scared to tell them. You have to remember why you had your surgery. The most important thing is health not looking good in a new outfit. Help our race understand dont not them if you haven't put forth the effort to help educate them to umdersrand. Glad to see a thread for the AA sleeve community. I was sleeved 3/26/14. HW 360 SW 350 Cw 325. So far I have no regrets for taking the life change on. I look forward to what the future holds. Oh wait, the other day I had my first near death experience. I ate my Breakfast (egg whites and ground turkey) then I drank Water right after and left home for school. Well I had to pull over and pray the pain would stop, lol. My chest was so tight, listen I learned my lesson and it wont happen again. Any fun stories out there

I am 1 month post op. Its amazing how this process works. I have lost 30 lbs, which far exceeds my 1st month goals. I know the numbers wont be as big going forward but its a great jump start. This decision I made has been a true blessing. My doc has cleared me to pic up my workout intensity. My goal is 15lbs this month.

bigjoe59 got a reaction from 1Day1Life4Now in SEX!
    Hello Sleevers,
Im 25 days post-op, and feeling great. One great thing I have noticed is my sexual appetite has grown enormously. I want it morning, noon, and night. Just 2 months ago my fiancee would complain that my sexual drive was to low. Now the woman is hiding from me, lol. My hw 360 SW 350 CW 320 GW 200. My woman told me that she scared what sex is going to be like at my GW. The smallest I have ever been in are relationship is 285. This new drive I have is another positive affect of the sleeve. This another confirmation that I made the right choice.
So has the sleeve changed you?
