  1. i want to know the same thing!!
  2. You look fabulous!!
  3. A Couple thoughst: 1- If you drank the fluids with the Protein bar this could be the problem. I always wait at least 1/2 hour to drink anything after eating a solid food. 2- I found if I take any Vitamins or prilosec at night I wake up feeling a little yuck. 3- Try to have a evening snack around 8 or 9 like a LF string cheese. If your blood sugar gets low during the night this can cause nausea in the morning. Hope you feel better!
  4. Wow great pictures it looks like a beautiful place to live. My current goals: run a 5k and get back on a horse. Hope to do both within the year. Thank you VSG!
  5. No I think your doing goo getting in 70 g of protein this early on... my NUT said to focus on water and protein intake do not count carbs and calories right now.
  6. I was given the ok by my NUT for salad and fresh veggies at my 6 week visit.
  7. I have always been able to lose weight on my own. I think those of us who are overweight most of our lives are great dieters. The problem is we dont stick with it and end up gaining back more than we had to lose in the beginning. I needed to make a permanent life style change to be a healthier person. First off I started working out at Curves, then I stopped smoking, then I started my evaluations for this weight loss surgery. My next step is Yoga and Meditation It a whole new way of thinking.... I am going to take care of myself, body, mind and soul. Now that I have had the surgery I wish i would have had it 20 years ago, but not sure I was ready..I am now. I am so happy for the decisions I have made. I sleep better, have a better mental outlook, no more hips, knees and feet pain..I just feel better all over. Its your choice and your decision take time to think it out and make sure your ready to commit to a healthier lifestyle. I wsh you the best!

  12. I had the same repair and discomfort. Dr said it is just part of the healing process. I am able to keep foods down only threw up once since surgery. I feel it most in the morning. They told me they put stiches in to close and repair the hernia.
  13. This is called the 4 week stall...sometimes it happens at 2 weeks or 3 or 6 etc. It is your body readjusting to surgery and weight loss. Focus on your inches lost not lbs. Do not become discouraged, I know its hard not too. After surgery I was happily losing a LB a day until week 2.5 and it stopped I even gained .5 of a lb. then it broke and i began to lose again. Check to make sure your getting enough Protein and Water if you are you need to let your body do its job.. You will begin to lose again. : )

  15. I am 10 days post op and do not have my post op meeting with my NUT until 4/11 at wich point i then get to go to pureed. I guess I am not sure what the difference is between full liquid and clear liquid. I am mostly doing broths, SF popsicles, Protein shakes and SF Jello, and FF milk. Any other suggestions for the full liquid stage? Thanks!
