    Today I learned that I most likely have a very big surgery to reconstruct my left ALC coming up... which means six months of pain, limited mobility, and physical therapy. I'm only three months post op from my RNY, and I need the exercise I simply can't get right now, and now won't be able to do for a long time. I feel like I could cry. :(

      As a "survivor" of ACL reconstruction - never think physical therapy isn't exercise/work! I lost weight during recovery. You burn a lot of calories "learning" to walk again, not to mention fighting pain. Good luck to you! You can do this!!
