  1. Really hate the new format!! & mine just displayed a Burger King ad!!!! Seriously!?!?!?!
  2. I really don't like the new set up for the forum. I find I don't get on the boards as much anymore. I'm almost 8 months out & maybe that's why. But seriously, there was just a Burger King ad!!
  3. I'm 5'7" I've lost 103lbs. 2nd pic is on my 7 month surgiversary.
  4. Officially off ALL prescription medication!!
  5. But you are doing great!! Keep up the great work!
  6. I'm officially off all prescription medicine!! Now I just take my handful of vitamins every day! Feeling extremely blessed.
  7. On my 7 months surgiversary! Loving life!
  8. I'm the mom of 2 pretty amazing teenage boys. They were cutting up the other day & made an off color remark about someone who was heavy. I chimed in & said, "on behalf of fat people everywhere that's not ok! & you should be kinder"???? cue the maternal lecture... Then my 16 yr old said, "yeah but you aren't fat!" I almost cried
  9. I think it sounds like a nice treat! I was previously a 2XL & recently claimed a M T-shirt(which is now too small for my teenage son) & wore it to his football game the other night! I also acquired a Small sweatshirt which fits just great! It's funny to be able to use clothes from the boy's closets instead of sending them to the school resale. Best of luck to you!
  10. Sleeved 2/19/14. Down 102lbs. Feeling fabulous! & oh so healthy!
  11. Please share how to make cake batter pumpkin pie ice cream!! Thanks in advance!
  12. Down 102lbs in 6 & 1/2 months... Before & during. Still a bit to go!
  13. I love coffee!!! I too would advise weaning preop. You have time to work your way down. Half-caf may help too. My dr let me have coffee postop just no caffeine. Immediately post op my coffee tasted awful so I didn't drink it. I was really kind of sad about that. I now drink my am cups & possibly another mid afternoon. I sweeten with sugar free torani syrup & use a little half-n-half (just log it all in MFP!) good luck!
  14. So fun! That was my treat too at 3 months post op. Enjoy!!!
  15. Jencovi, I'm so sorry to hear this. I don't know you or your friend, but I would approach her in love. Try to not be defensive & try to understand how she might feel (sad, jealous, frustrated). I know it's disappointing that she isn't supportive. If she is truly your best friend, I would try to talk to her about how you feel & be supportive of her too. Treat her as you wish she was treating you (not how she IS actually treating you!) if you can make allowances & go out, try & do that too as long as you don't eat off plan. Maybe not as much as before but some. She probably feels she's losing you too! I do know that even when people are trying to be supportive it can still be hard, especially if she wishes she were losing weight too. There are some people I just don't talk about weight loss with anymore. It's not fair but it is what it is. Best of luck! Will be praying for you.
  16. Great job!! Keep up the good work!
  17. It will pass! Just don't give up. Continue to follow your plan & take your measurements. You are probably losing inches even if the scale isn't moving. Unfortunately I don't think you can hurry it up:( your body has to adjust. Best of luck!!
  18. Yesterday was my 6 month post op. Officially down 97lbs!! I was wearing a 20 or 22 & now am in a 10 or 12. Shirts were 2xl & now M or L!!! I take 1/2 of a BP pill (previously took 4) & no meds for diabetes since 1 day preop!! Feeling fabulous!!! 6months
  19. 6 months post op today. Officially down 97 lbs!! Will do measurements tonight! Absolutely best health decision I've ever made.
