  1. I agree with Sarah. Just keep working your plan & don't give up!! I am super strict on carb intake cause I was diabetic before. My loss has dramatically decreased in the last 6 weeks but I'm a lot closer to my original goal. I get aggravated with the scale but I know in my head my body is just trying to adjust. Best of luck!!
  2. I'm down 92 lbs!! Feel like a completely new person! I will lose 3-4 lbs then bounce around for 2 or 3 weeks then lose again. I'm going to have to up the exercise. I really wanted to lose 100 before my 6 month. But I couldn't be happier! Good luck!!!
  3. Sarahjane way to go!!! We were sleeved the same day. I like hearing how you are doing. You have lost more than me. I'm so very excited for you!
  4. I bought a belt last week! I don't remember ever having a belt!
  5. Fezik you will be! I've still got some real work to do, but this really is fabulous!
  6. You look fantastic!! Way to go!
  7. I bought a belt this week! Was on my list of NSVs preop. I also squeezed into a size 8 dress!!! Granted it is stretchy, but the tag has a single digit! Registering the kids for school today. Will see a lot of people that I haven't seen in 3 months. Hoping all goes well. How is everyone doing?
  8. You look fantastic! Congrats!!
  9. Hang in there guys! It gets better everyday. Best of luck
  10. Obtained a goal today! I bought a belt!! I can't remember having a belt in my adult life. This was one of my NSV I had set presurgery! I also bought a size 8 dress!!! Granted it is stretchy material, but the tag has a single digit!!! Shout!!!
  11. Wow! Fantastic job!!!
  12. Covatila84 way to go! I feel like I stall a lot too. I'm so pleased with my progress, but I'm hating my scale!
  13. Thanks! I'm always on my phone:)
  14. Y'all are looking fabulous!!!
  15. Welcome! I'm 5 months post op & couldn't be happier. My health is so much better & I have so much more energy! I'm down to 1/2 of a blood pressure pill (previously on 4) & no diabetes meds since 1 day preop. My a1c was perfect 3 months post op! I do have some skin issues but not as bad as I had feared. My arms are the worst but not sure I would consider plastics. I might reconsider after I hit goal. But would want to maintain for at least a year first. I've had 2 c sections so I thought my stomach would be the most horrible. Honestly it is a lot better than I expected. I still have 20-30 lbs til goal & hope more will go away! But I could live with it even now. I never expected a perfect body. I have talked to some people about a tummy tuck but it sounds really traumatic so we will just have to wait & see what the next year or so brings. Best of luck to you!
  16. Miss Mac thank you!!! I'm 5 months post op & thought I must be the only one who gains 3-4 lbs overnight! I know I've not ate enough to gain!!! Seems like I will gain overnight then stall for about 3 weeks then lose that 3 plus 1 or 2 more. Then repeat. I'm only 20-30 lbs from goal so I expected weight loss to slow. Stalls do happen & they stink! Just don't give up. It will eventually even out. Also take your measurements. I am getting smaller even when the scale doesn't move. Best of luck!
  17. I read posts & it sounds like you can see how far people have come. I can't figure out how to see stats. Any help greatly appreciated!
  18. Best of luck! It is an incredible journey. But so totally worth it! I lost 22lbs on my 2 week preop diet! I love pb2 also & can use torani sugar free syrup. Unjury makes a chicken soup protein, but I honestly didn't like it. Like the others said, you basically just get thru it. I really think the first 4 or 5 days is the hardest. Then your body is kind of detoxed off of carbs. Post op is easier.
  19. Yes it was wonderful! I hit a big stall too just prior, which made it worse. But come on over! It's a very happy place!! Yay for you!
  20. Thank you so much!!! I can't wait to get started!
