  1. My surgery is booked for September 28, 2007 and I am so excited and scared at the same time. I am so ready for this part of my life to begin. To learn how to deal with food as a fuel instead of a friend. I can't wait to deal with head hunger and WIN!! I have 2 weeks of optifast to do, which I am looking forward to the initial challenge. Here we go.:clap2:
  2. Thanks for your words and OMG LapBandit, you are doing AMAZING, you must be so proud of yourself and you must feel wonderful.
  3. Thank you so much. That about sums up all of th questions. Some I never would have thought of. My doctor may get annoyed with all of my questions, but for $16,000.00 I am going to make sure I have covered all of my bases. Again thank you faithmd, that really helped.
  4. I have a consult for August 29, 2007. I am sure I am doing this, but would like any suggestions from experienced Banders. Are there any questions I need to ask during my consult?? I feel like I am fairly prepared, but any suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance. Thanks Lexanne
  5. I have just begun my journey with the lap band. My consult is on Wednesday and guessing for a surgery date of September 20ish. I am just ready to get my life back. I have a list of 100 reasons I want to lose weight. One for each lb. I plan on crossing these off of my list each lb I lose and keep it posted on my fridge to see. I LOVE this thread and site. I will be here for awhile during the lows and highs, but together we can do this. Thank you everyone for sharing, it gives us newbies some excitement to go with our aprehension. Good luck to everyone on their journey. Lexanne
