  6. i am interested in talking with anyone who has had lap band surgery and is a type 1 diabetic. I am a type 1 diabetic and have ainsulin pump. I was banded on 8/16/2007. It has been a real struggle to try and manage my diabetes and the lap band diet especially the the 1st 7 or 10 days after surgery. I had blood sugars of 30s and 40s in the morning and had to bring up sugar by using pancake syrup. does insulin make you lose weight at a slower pace? I have only lost 10 lbs in almost a month. Also, if you have any good food ideas.
  7. I will walk for 30 min a day
