I know I'm in the healing stage but I can't tell if the pain in my stomach is gas pain or regular pains. I still have that drainage tube in my stomach. It makes very hard for me to get comfortable. I have to sleep on my back which is even more uncomfortable. Any ideas or suggestions on how to get comfortable and deal with the pain? Pain med is 2mg, doesnt feel like it's working.

Thanks. Feeling fine for the most part. Trying to walk as much as I can around the house. Trying to remember to drink slowly.

Thanks!! Surgery went well. Trying to deal with this pain is another thing. But I'm ready to change my life. Hopefully in the next few days I wont feel any pain.

Thanks. I was out the past couple of days. Didn't do well with the pain. I'm up at home walking around. Can't wait to get the drain taken out! Im excited about starting this journey!!

Good Morning. Today is surgery day!! I should be asleep but made the mistake of taking a nap earlier lol. Family and friends are more nervous than I am. I'm ready. I feel with everything in me, that this is the best thing for me.

Surgery scheduled for Feb. 4th. Started my pre-op diet on Saturday. Its consists of a protein bar or shake for breakfast and lunch, mid morning, afternoon and evening snacks of small piece of fruit or half a cup and 3 oz of lean meat, salad, 6 unsalted crackers, and a small piece of fruit for dinner. I'm very hungry!! My potassium and iron were low, so I'm on supplements. Hopefully I won't have to reschedule my surgery.

Hello! Received by surgery date Wednesday. It's scheduled for the 4th. Nurse called yesterday to say my iron and potassium are low Anyone else have these problems before surgery? Any suggestions?

Wow 14 lbs that's awesome!! I'm super excited! Hopefully I'll only have to do a week on the liquid diet pre-op.
