Yes I don't like food much either. Dealing with nausea but my energy is good. When was the last time you had your Iron level checked? I take Biotin daily so no issues with hair. Good job on your weight loss and I hope you feel better soon

Thank you! Its crazy how mentally I didn't realize how much weight was gone until I did side by side picture. The one on the left was the day after surgery.

I'm down about 60lbs since surgery (3-17-14). Just had total hip replacement surgery on 6-17 so had to lose the 10 lbs of Fluid added and the lack of exercise. Needless to say I am very pleased and feel so much better!

I'm not quite 4 months yet (3/18/14), but have been doing pretty well. I'm down several sizes and 70 pounds. I'm much more active and feel so much better. My arthritis has also eased up some, I'm sure due to less stress on my joints. Some days I still struggle to get my Water in, but for the most part, this has been a very good experience.

How's everyone doing 4 months out? I feel great. I have been having some issues with low blood sugar but I'm trying to be extra vigilant about watching out for carbs and sugar and that's helping.
Here I am. Down almost 80lbs and 1 pair of glasses. I had Lasik and PRK before my WLS after wearing glasses since I was in first grade so needless to say my overall appearance has changed a lot the last year.

I want to be able to eat normal, healthy foods and still have treats, etc in moderation. It's not about denying yourself all previously eaten foods. Went out tonight with my husband and friends for Japanese. I had a kids shrimp hibachi dinner, no rice or noodles, just shrimp and the veggies. I had a few bits of my hubby's salad with ginger dressing. It was delicious and I brought enough home for lunch tomorrow. I've lost almost 90 pounds in 6 months and less than 10 lbs from my goal. I'm very happy with my progress and proud that I can go out and find things that I can eat and still feel like a normal person. It's tough to not be able to go out with friends and family in there beginning. I do my research before I go out so I know that there are things available for me to eat and enjoy.

Taco seasoning as no sugar and 3 carbs per serving. You wouldn't even eat a whole service with this recipe, or you could leave the taco seasoning out. Salsa has 2 sugars and 2 carbs. As I said my husband eats his with a tortilla or chips. What do you eat? Plained boiled chicken 24/7?
It's almost impossible to avoid all sugars and wouldn't be healthy or even doable to avoid all carbs. You do what you want to do, but this isn't a chocolate chip cookie recipe, it's a healthy, easy, almost pure Protein.

Before and After - surgery 3/18. Had my 3 month with my pc today. All Vitamins levels are excellent, blood pressure was 120/70 and my A1C is 5.6. I'm down 50 lbs and loving life. By far the best thing I've ever done for myself in a long time.
