Happy new years everybody! Pray that everyone is doing fabulous as well as recovering from surgery. I am still in the hospital what my doctor told me was to expect three nights either way. They will repeat the barium swallow test today so please pray for the success of that,then they can take off all these plugs and Patches and monitors. As of right now I have not had any of the esophageal spasms thank God! So hopefully the swelling has gone down and I can start the 2 wk postop liq. I would love to say yuck I'm so sick of liquids but its been 2 days now and I haven't had liquids of any kind just a wet swab for my mouth but no swallowing, again I pray that everyone had a great surgery and is recovering well. Im especially praying for our Dec group for that this year will be the best you ever ever had. Im ready to start seeing some before and after pics! Yall have a good day and thanks for your prayers. Hi, I just recently joined and was hoping to find some other people who also had Band to Sleeve revision around the same time I did. I had my lap band in 2010 and had all the usual complications. On December 20th 2013 I had the band removed and the sleeve done all in the same procedure. I was hoping to find some others to keep in touch and provide each other support throughout the stages! I'm looking forward to meeting everyone!

My goal is to loose 120 lbs - 261lbs starting out weight,

I had my reversion from band to sleeve on Dec 18, 2013. I healing fine. I have a sore throat.

Started at 303 weighed yesterday at 284. Down 19lbs. We are well on our way.

Drum roll please....it's time for some GREAT numbers:
Total pounds reported and lost: 316.4
Total goal pounds reported: 7626
We're at a little bit more than 4% towards the overall goal....and this is just for the first official weigh in!

The ACTUAL total pounds lost so far is 828.9. PHENOMENAL!!!

Yes I have my pain pills and nausea medication taking those two together makes me feel great

Well, crappy crap. I awoke this am to left shoulder pain again. :-( (8 out of 10). I thought I was past that since I'm 5 days post-op. Not only do I have shoulder pain, but also sharp, throbbing stomach/ bowel pain. Think I'll just take it easy today and rest. God bless each of you awaiting surgery today and the rest of the week. Keep us posted on your recovery. Has anyone else had hot-cold issues? One minute I'm cold and the next I'm hot as hades. Very confusing.
