I had a lap band placed in 2010 and lost about 50lbs over three years before the complications started. I suddenly threw up everything I ate no matter what I ate or how well I chewed. After seeing a different surgeon and evaluating the treatment options, we decided that it was best to proceed with a revision to the sleeve. After jumping through a few insurance hoops, I was scheduled for surgery and completed the procedure on December 20th 2013.
