  1. Keep in mind that A1C level is for the 3 months prior, so it may still go down as you go along.

What can I do with...sweet peppers?

Oh, and in looking back over the recipe, I remembered that it calls for shredded chicken. I've always just used cooked ground turkey or chicken when I make it. I don't know why, but I prefer ground meat for nachos.

    Here's a recipe I LOVE! http://www.heatovento350.com/2013/03/mini-pepper-chicken-nachos.html
  4. I know! I love the app because it means I can read when I'm not at my computer. But I hate the app because it's so difficult to find what I want sometimes.
  5. There is a DS forum. http://www.bariatricpal.com/forum/1018-duodenal-switch-surgery-forum-new/

    On cloud nine.."bread"

The recipe I use calls for 3 eggs and 1.5 ounces of full-fat cream cheese. I love, love, love it! I made a batch with some pumpkin pie spice and a tablespoon of sweetener added. Yum!

Cake for lunch! What? You bet I do!

Oh my, this sounds so good right now! Sadly, I have no Protein powder. I will have to shop for some. Soon.
  9. Technically, my work insurance covers it, but the restrictions are so tight and the amount that they will pay is so small that it might as well not. What I ended up doing was finding a surgeon who checks you for a hiatal hernia. Many people have them. If you have one, then they file with your insurance to cover the hiatal hernia sleeve repair and you pay out of pocket for them to do the sleeve while you're in surgery. That way, you don't have to meet any of your insurance company requirements for qualifying for the sleeve as you're not using them to cover it. I ended up total out of pocket paying approximately $6,000 for everything.

    Where's the "support"?

See, I knew someone would pick up the slack. Congratulations -- you got the job. Lol yes I'm usually the stand in for the little ppl. Must be the social work background.I'm still not getting the correlation between "standing up for the little people" by condemning and name calling the "other people". Must be the middle school teacher in me. Can't be that, because I'm not a middle school teacher. Maybe it's just the mature adult in you.

    Scared

I suspect it's not that he doesn't accept her as she is so much as he's tired of paying for her to lose weight then regain. She said she had the balloon and lost then regained. She had lap-band and lost then regained. At least, that's what I got out of what she posted.

Etiquette of posting in "[opposite sex] Only" forum?

Hm, in this instance it's redundant to say "man's penis." Who else's would it be? A Ken doll's? Technically, if I understand transgenderism correctly, one can be a woman with a penis. Take Caitlyn Jenner for example.
  13. I'm 13 months out and I've had pizza twice, both at work functions where pizza was all that was served. However, I was the one who placed the order, so I was able to order something relatively healthy. I got a thin crust veggie lovers with ham added. One small slice and I'm full.

I had to go track down the thread just to see if I could figure out this mysterious word.
