Leak test done. Showered. Iv unhooked... Bandages changed out just now visiting and waiting on some apple juice or Gatorade! -
wedding cake & protein shakes!! hard to drink a shake while ordering your wedding cake!!

EEEK... i started my 14 day pre-op diet... My doctor recommended 14 - 7 days dieting.. as I feel i know I will cheat I'm choosing the 14 day diet to hopefully by day 7 i'll have all the cheating out of my system... also I have a 3 day prior to surgery liquid diet to do...I cannot believe I am 16 days away from this this journey!! Hope to see some of you floating around the Marriott while there!! -
started my 14 day diet today!!! so far everyone near me is alive

By the time my two week liquids started I was ready for the surgery and excited. The trick to making it through the liquids is to get a good mix of sweet and savory. I had cream soups for lunch and dinner, and shakes or yogurt for breakfast and snacks. You are so close to an awesome journey, are you excited?!

oh yea... i'm excited.. nerves have not hit yet but i'm sure the closer it gets to time they will.. My dr recommends the shakes for breakfast and lunch with a supper that consist of lettuce and protein... I know tomorrow I'll cheat as my fiancee is treating me to an early Valentines supper... but after that I'm going to do my dead level best to be good.. I'm so excited to be on this journey!

it's snowing in MS! and I've started my pre pre op diet.. as in trying to find the best protein shakes out there.. any suggestions

@soontobesleeved i debated telling anyone other than my fiancee.. but i did tell my brother to see what he though my parents would say... i like you have an over dramatic mother that I love her to death but she lives in a box and anything outside that box is reason for panic per say... but after some thought and dropping hints i finally came out and told her. She's okay with my surgery she's not thrilled about the idea of me doing it in Mexico. But she also told me not to tell my Dad... LOL i'm not sure why.. but a few friends know and my coworkers.. other than that I haven't told many... it's your decision either to tell or not to tell. I just needed someone that was "IN MY OWN FAMILY" to know incase something happened (God forbid) since I wasn't married yet... Best of luck to you!!!
