  1. At my goal weight and just waiting now to have my skin removal!!! Wouldn't change anything I went through in this experience for anything, cause it made me who I am now, and I am very happy with who I am right now!!!

Thanks for that insight. I knew that with the bypass that sugar was out forever for most bypass people and I had tortured myself with the Atkins plan long enough to realize that saying no to certain things is not up my alley. I have to be able to slip without it making me sick, I mean I still get sick with fish, bread and oil, but a finger down the throat seems to do it most times. When I was on Atkins, I gave up sugar and when I got off, I needed it like a crack head. That wasn't the route for me and the bypass wasn't and probably still isn't. I just wish I had the motivation to get all of my weight off like I started off with. I lack motivation. I haven't gained an ounce, but stuck at where I left off due to lack of motivation. I think it will come back when I have had enough, just not there yet and still going through a lot of employment stresses doesn't help either. Can't wait to get my head in the game again!

I'm hanging in there. Still at the same weight since I last posted. I saw your photos and thought to myself, why I didn't get the bypass instead of the sleeve where I probably would have realized a greater weight loss. Still fine as ever though :) but would like to reach goal before I settle for this fineness right here ;0!

Pupi, you are my inspiration! You have done it and I am so proud of you. I remember when you were fighting in the beginning and in the middle of your weight loss. You should be so very proud of yourself - PLUS you look great and wow, a wedding to boot!!! Congrats!

  5. Ok So I took my first class of Zumba last night and it was amazing, Fun, and I felt so great after the class, I was so nervous at first but now I will definitely go back!!!

I can't do Zumba or anything intense on the knees. Zumba is fun with the right instructor but not if you have one that lacks staying on beat :) Glad you are having fun!

  6. The only reason I haven't posted anything is because I have slipped. No, I haven't gained, but I sure haven't lost either. Just staying at where I am right now. One excuse I have is stress. It has been a stressful year and not letting up. I know that exercising would help me to get back on the losing end, but just having the energy to exercise is a problem. I think I need intervention, quite honestly.

Thank you everyone for all of your kind words of support. My mind wants to exercise and do the 5-day pouch test to jumpstart my process all over again. Another thing that I found encouraging is watching those shows "600-lb Life" it is making me want to just get moving. I'm coming along and truly believe that I will get there really soon. Thanks again!

  7. Wow lost 3 lbs this week, only 17 more lbs to my goal!!!

  8. 20 lbs to go to my goal, wow, I can't believe I am so close now, and I am so proud of myself!!!

  9. Wow, I haven't posted anything since December 17! Well, I'm back and with a better attitude. I'm realizing that exercise is the only thing that will help me during these tough times, so I'm making plans to HIT THAT GYM! Yep, the gym to see if I can shock my long aggravating stall back into 'How you do'in' phase!!!

I'm glad you're feeling better Pup! Surgery can set you back from your goal. What I am loving about my weight is that I must be at a set-point because I'm at the same place even during the holiday treats. Thank goodness! I know that if I just get on a machine, stuff will start melting off, I just need the motivation to stick with it for a bit. I don't beat myself up too hard because we are living a human existence/experience and I'm quite happy with the way that I look and feel, but wouldn't it be nice to get those extra poundages off? :)

Thanks Pup, more things continue t happen here and questions how long I should stick it out. The interview went very good but they went with another candidate, yet I still push for other opportunities when they arise. I am slowly getting back to my post op diet by cutting out one bad habit after another. I haven't gained any weight and actually lost a couple of pounds, but it's still not good enough. I'm hoping the new year will be for the better and I can CATCH A BREAK! Hope all is well with you Ms. Sexy :)

  13. Just realized I had my underware on backwards. Sadly, it fit better. :-(

  14. How is it possible that at 5ft3ins and 177lbs I an able to fit into size 10 slacks? I'm I really a size 14 in clothes made back in tge 1980s and 1990s?

    1. BladeFox

      BladeFox

Yep, I am thinking that I need to stay away from the plus sizes because a 16-18 in these sizes are too baggy. I believe that to accommodate for our waist sizes in this new America they had to make some sizing alterations. I am 6'0" - 246 pounds and fitting in a size 16. This is unfathomable, plus, I am moving to a regular size 18 shortly because the fit in the legs and waist don't work any longer. It makes it hard to find the right fit when shopping.

  15. What Are Your Trigger Foods? Today's blog post asks you to examine your eating habits to find those foods that are sabotaging your weight loss and nutritional goals. Comment and share what your trigger foods are so we can all be an encouragement to each other especially since the temptation is always greater during the holidays! Though I have several trigger foods, mine biggest is sugar cookies! http://wakingupfromheavysetdreams.blogspot.com/2014/11/what-are-your-trigger-foods.html

  16. My friends have heard that I have been dealing with stress in my eating life - Not Good - but hopefully this will be coming to an end soon. My job downsized and merged leaving me to work with a micro-manager 50% of the time and the other 50% working with a FABU boss so leaving was the only option. HOWEVER, I am now the only one standing and things are looking up which means down in pounds baby!!!

    1. BladeFox

      BladeFox

No, I'm still working @proudgrammy through the merger. I am the last of the team that is still here and because of this, I may actually be offered a better opportunity where I report to only one person only and become permanent. "...only one standing and things are looking up which means down in pounds..." I also interviewed for another position that I hope to hear from by either tomorrow or Wednesday of next week, so it's looking up for me!

Thanks, I took the week off so I could get away from it all for a bit, plus had an interview last week too. Yay! Just a lot of other stuff going on that's getting in the way of weight loss right now, but yeah, thanks again.
