Hey everyone!!! I was 44 when I was banded. Its been great so far. I've always been heavy, so I look forward to being skinny.

RedGril, I right there with you. I was banded on 7/25/07 and just had fill #2. Still no magic feeling of fullness. Mine is Willpower. Not gaining. But losing ever so slow. Hang in there.

This was one of the hardest things to get use to. And I still find it hard. I always drank diet coke with each meal. I sometimes cannot wait until the hour has finally gone by so I can drink something. But I'm down 24 pounds so it is well worth it.

I told all of my co workers including my boss. I'm proud of the fact that after all my life of being overweight I did something about it. I'm still new just being banded on 7-25 but still feel great about my decision.

Lisa Dr Heiker did my banding on 7/25/07 in Texarkana. The staff at his office is fanastic. Everything is going great. I would definately recommend him and his staff. Vicki:clap2:

I'm feeling good. Just would love to get rid of gas pains. So glad I did this. Looking forward to a great future with my husband and kids.

Thanks for welcoming me. I have lost about 10 pounds so far. Still sore with gas pains. One of my incesions bled alot but it has stopped. Cannot wait to take off the strips and see them myself. But I do feel good. I'm walking to post office and bank. Anything to get moving.

Hi queenmom, I just had the surgery Wednesday. I am 44 and the mother of 5. The youngest is 2. I'm doing great. Just a little sore. I'm up and walking. I think the soreness is just the gas.

I'm a little sore. I was so nervous when they did my surgery. But excited!
