I'll just agree with everybody, ok? My husband and I have been married for nearly 13 years and have always loved each other no matter what. I think that is part of what makes a relationship successful, being able to grow and change with each other and accept the new and different people that we are during the different stages of our life.

I have to say that I agree. I can't wait to see how much differently both myself and my husband will feel a few months from now. I know my self esteem will have to be better and that in itself will make me more attractive ( I think, I hope).

I had my surgery on a Thursday and was back at work on Monday. I think you will feel fine. Have fun:)

My doc said not to try to quit right after having the band....said that taking away both food and smoking just wasn't fair. SOOOO....still smoking with no problems.

OK No one told me that I would not be able to drink. Granted I'm not a lush but I do enjoy the occasional margarita. Last Friday I tried one and have never been so sick in all my life. Is this a permenant deal or just because I've only been banded a few weeks? I have to say I was truly mortified because I was in a social situation when this happened. Wish I had known:think

Hey Emmy, I'm from Ringgold, just outside Chattanooga. I had my surgery on the 10th of March. Dr. Ponce was my surgeon. Nice to hear from someone close by. Feel free to keep in touch:)
