Bumped down to Clear Liquids only... as of 1:00pm. Not hungry at all today. I have to be at the hospital at 5:30am and it is out of town. So Packing up my stuff and hubby's driving us to a hotel to spend the night. Don't wanna make him get up at 3:00am for all that driving. I probably wont be able to sleep tonight anyway. Im to excited. Oh and thanks for all those thoughts and prayers my cold seems to have cleared up. No meds in 24 hours now. Nose not stuffy anymore.

I got my approval today!! My appt with the surgeon is Wednesday to get my date! It's starting to feel real now!

I ordered my Vitamins from Bariatric Choice and Bariatric Advantage. Just google those two to find them. Just keep in mind a few things. Don't start off buying huge quantities of anything, just in case you don't like how they taste. Get calcium citrate for your Calcium. Oh and avoid Gummy type vitamins. Be ready for a drastic change in your taste buds right after surgery, and that will be less pronounced over time. Get up and walk as soon as they let you- hospital beds always give me back aches and walking helped with that. Plus it helps you lungs and circulation. Oh, and it is perfectly normal to be anxious right before your surgery. Oh, and make sure that when they start "feeding" you at the hospital, the person delivering your "food". Gives you the proper "food". They messed mine up every time. You are improving your life and this is a big step. And it takes courage and determination to do this. So be proud as you take this journey. You are awesome! And i hope you the very best!

You will be fine! The only thing you have to worry about is getting to the hospital on time. They'll take care of everything from there. Mostly, you will sleep or walk to get rid of the gas they use during surgery. Hope you get some wonderfully kind nurses. Take care!

Had my 2 week post op check up Friday. No problems at all. All glue of my incisions and I can tub bathe or swim if I want. Down 24 pounds since starting 2 week preop diet. Started two weeks of pureed diet. Have had refried Beans, thinned mashed potato, pureed tuna, cottage cheese and banana. This mornin breakfas was 1 scrambled egg cooked with little milk and 1Tbls of ricotta cheese. My side dishes 1 Tbls pureed green chile and 1Tbls refried beans. All eaten but it took me bout 30 mins. All sitting well. Still need Protein Shakes and powder to make Protein goal, but it is wonderful to have texture. Hope evryone is well. Take care and good luck. Respect the pouch! Respect it!

Well the last week for Oct surgeries, and I am the last one oct 31 almost done with the 2 week pre-op diet . Now just can't wait for the day to come !!! Good luck to us all and see you all on the losers bench ( sexy costume next year )

I just order the Celebrate chewable the pineaple strawberry flavor hopefully i like it Today the all Vitamins and nutrients stuff is getting at me. The devil putting question on my mind lol. Watching youtube videos. Reading stuff online. I think i need to get out of the house

My surgery is October 29th (Tuesday) as well but i still have this head cold. Taking vit c Claritin tylenol cold and sinus makes me feel some better but I'm afraid they are going to cancel my surgery. I cant do another 10 days of liquid diet. Prayers and thoughts needed.
