  1. Needing support ? CROSS posted I don't know what is going on went to the surgeon last Friday and I weighed 179. THEN I went out to dinner two nights in a row, but nothing horrid, I did share dessert. BUT TODAY, I had 3 bites of cookie dough, 2 cookies, and an Almond JOy, GRAZED like fool, raw veggies and dip, a 1/4th of a chicken breast. SO you get it right, MY TUMMY IS KILLING me right now. SO The killer is I weigh 185! WTH??? Is this truly possible. I haven't had gains like this, Althought I felt the 179 was artificial cause I was 181 at home, BUT crap 185 this is ridiculous. I felt like I was hungry all day today after I did my 5 k, but heck no do I pick the good stuff. Dec 7th 237/ I GUESS 185/165
  2. May I ask how long it took you to get to goal and then your maintaining weight?
  3. I am filled at 4cc right now. I am at a good restriction and should last awhile. I get PB's when I eat to fast or the wrong things. I am hoping this will carry me to goal. My doc says they can put a little more fluid than it says. Also he said sometimes it evaporates or loses some of the fluid. I am at a stand still with weight loss this week, but I am praying that I am just compacting.
  4. I think you need to do what makes you happy. But I do agree with your husband, they aren't meant to by exactly symmetrical. You do look fabulous.
  5. No they shouldn't do all your tests that day, because they would not have the results back. You do those now and up to your surgery. Pre-oP is just a formality and review of the procedure and if your doctor gives handouts and books, you get them that day. You pay your copay and etc. Does your doc have a bariatric coordinator? if so call her with your questions. I bothered mine constantly and sometimes still have questions 7 months later. Wishing you the best!
  6. I lost about 40lbs the first 6 months. I did not exercise or drink near enough Water. I am making a greater effort now that I am on the next 6 month. Take my advise don't wait that long to get with the program. I could be a goal by now if I got my head out. NOW I am wanting to raise to the finish line, but not as easy this time. Anyways, I didn't have as much to lose as others and as you can see those who have more to lose, lose faster. I am without a doubt completely satisfied with my self-paid band.
  7. I get frustrated as heck and discouraged. I weighed 192 this morning now this after noon is said 196.6 and it has been awhile since I have seen that scary number. It is really hot here, I am not fixing to PMS, and so I have no REAL excuse I can think of. I didn't eat 12000 calories in the last week. Does anyone else have this experience with the scales? :help:
  8. which setting is the best to look at this forum, I can't find one I like that makes sense.... or are in current order without selecting the last post. Thanks for any help. BTW I like this forum and the Dec bandsters one!
  9. Do you have any tips or recommendations for us slower losers?
  10. My doctor told me hair loss can be a side effect of anthesia or lack of protein.
