yup!!! I switched my purse and wallet too!! Great job! I know it's hard!
  2. Yeah, that was one of the reasons I didn't say anything to people I work with. I got couple days off and came back saying nothing My family asks me to eat more, try more salad of grilled "whatever you eat girl". They don't try to make me fail, just don't get concept of small portions and smart meals... Hopeless cases!
  3. Agreed! Republic of Tea has some awesome decaf flavors you can get. I still rely on tea every day to get my liquids in.

I suggest you watch a movie and have nice bath after. When you smell all good and your hair is fresh you are less likely to smoke... At least that was my tactics. Don't give in!

Wow, great job! Ya think you'll make it smoke free for the rest of the day? I'm keeping my fingers crossed you will, because sleep is soooo much better
  6. Uneven floor and the flooring material can affect the result as well. Pick one spot, make sure floor is even and as hard as possible and check your weight there couple days in a row, if it is still fluctuating too much... Return. I got live smart scale you don't need to tap and I am very pleased with it.
  7. I concur, getting use to this is your best tactics... I cook normal meals for my hubs and two children, so I understand the frustration, but there is no point in getting worked up about it. He needs to eat and you cannot have it now... I guess it is similar to drug addict being in the company of active users. Hang in there.

Almond milk may have less sugars, but it also has noticeably less digestible protein. I stick with real milk, thankfully I did not become lactose intolerant.
  9. "Only" 37 lbs? Hah, I "only" lost 29 and I had my surgery not longer after yours. I already hit a stall for a week and I have a feeling I may be hitting another good luck girl, you are doing awesome
  10. You call them foamies lol, I get them as well when I don't chew the hell out of my food I went to work 2 weeks after the surgery, but I was exhausted for the first week. No pain here either.
  11. Pain meds make you constipated , happened to me too!
  12. I'm no expert, but i guess there are different cpap machines, so I'd suggest googling the model number and manufacturer name for technical support...
  13. I have been smoker for close to 20 years and quit cold turkey week before surgery. First week was a bit$&, but it is doable, you can do it. As soon as I was 5 days smoke free I thought it would be stupid to go back now...
  14. I am sooo having this tomorrow!!! Thanks !!!
  15. My suture was sticking out a little bit and the incision wouldn't close, so I went to my surgeon and had it pulled out. The incision healed and closed almost immediately.
  16. Thank you all for much needed valuable feedback!
  17. Gas

ponchik replied to Brooksy's topic in The Guys’ Room
This too shall pass . The gas pains are horrible, but it will be better every day. You're right with walking, the more you walk the more gas will be gone... I know how bad it is, trust me; I was in pain to the point I was crying and asking myself what I put myself through... It got better... Warm pack will help, but be careful with putting it on incisions... I was warming my lower back a lot good luck!!
  18. Sure, here is link to recipe with pictures: http://tastykitchen.com/blog/2013/08/cauliflower-crust-pizza/ You bake the dough at 425 for 10 min, or until golden brown, then for another 10 min with toppings on it. Be easy on pepper flakes, it may end up too spicy for you and your pouch...
  19. I made cauliflower crust pizza, it was beyond awesome and looks like it will last me about 3 days
  20. Yuck!!! I wonder how many baby roaches ended up eaten in that place!!!
  21. Good to know! Hope you'll recover fast! Good luck
