  7. My gastric bypass was done Sept5, 2013. I'm seeing what others have lost around the same time. Jan 5 will be 4 months for me. I'm down 57lbs. I'm happy for the loss I just assumed it would be more by now but maybe not. Either way I'm happy for my decision. How's everyone else doing?! I wish everyone a fantastic new year with amazing results!! ????????

  9. Dr Kim did my surgery in Fort Worth. Weird thing is I only met him once and then saw him again the day of surgery. My insurance doesn't take him anymore but still covers the facility and drs there. They are really nice but I don't get the support I need. They have a meeting every month I think on the first wed of every month. Maybe I do need a therapist.
  10. I've always been addicted to food. But I really thought if have an easier time with protein and such cause I've dieted that way before but I'm so not.
  11. I'm not doing very good. I've lost 34lbs since my surgery Sept. 5th but I'm making very bad choices. I just can't seem to stay on track and I'm worried and I'm scared and I don't know how to get back on track. I'm eating things I shouldn't eat. I'm drinking a diet soda every so often and I know I shouldn't. My weight has stalled. I barley lose anything now. I know it's still soon but Im worried.
  12. First few days I was MISERABLE and in so much pain. I could barely walk or move. Your heart may be in it but you probably wouldn't physically be able to handle it.
  13. Old habits die hard I guess. I'm hoping I'll get over it soon
  14. I understand it's not the best thing for us. I know it's not healthy but I was asking more for myself from time to time if I wanted one. One thing I learned from my past is that when I deny myself something I then over do it later with something much worse. It's a fault of mine that I'm still a work in progress on and I probably always will be.
  15. So the stretching thing is true. I've heard some people say that it wasn't true. I was afraid of that.
  16. I really want to try some but I'm scared
