  2. So for me. I didn't have a pre op diet. As far as now 2 weeks clear diet. 4 weeks soft and purée and then on to more solid foods.
  3. Ty for encouragement. I'm almost six weeks out and wonders will it get better. Lots of complications
  4. How are u getting that much protein and fluids in?
  5. I am a little over a month. They did a upper GI and since it was so much scar tissue they had to cut me open and staple me back.
  6. Well I thought it was just me! I had mines 3/12. Everything was going good then when I was drinking it was causing me pain. I went to the doctor and found out my scar tissue was closing my stomach hole. I had to get surgery to remove the scar tissue but they had to cut me open. I got staples then it got infected and I too have a hole in my stomach and a nurse comes every day and changes my packing as well. Friday it will be a week since infection. I'm also having a hard time with fluid intake / I'm not meeting the requirements. So your not alone at all. They say it gets better but ............
  7. You should contact your surgeon to make sure that your scar tissue isn't closing your holes. It happened to me. Also my aunt.

  17. As soon as I eat something I have to burp. Does anyone else experience this
  18. Umm. Ginger Ale.... would love to have one!!! How was it?
  19. In my opinion its all up to that particular individual. I am almost a month out and I don't log. I am on soft and puree foods. I have been on we and mfp in the past but for someone like me it gets boring after awhile. Just be mindful of intake of protein n carbs and make good choices. With our pouches being smaller me personally don't see anything wrong with a treat every now and then (whatever it maybe) we have to live. Also most of have yrs of bad eating habits it wont be undone overnight. Start small.
  20. Its about a cup n I sip on it throughout the day
  21. I still juice just nit as much. I like broccoli, grapes, carrots n apples
