You should contact your surgeon to make sure that your scar tissue isn't closing your holes. It happened to me. Also my aunt.

You can contact your surgeon for a prescription for nausea like zofran. That may help. I've also read that some people do better with room temperature or warn drinks vs cold. Hope that helps.

Hi, what did you have to do to get hole open, and how far along post-op thank you

I am a little over a month. They did a upper GI and since it was so much scar tissue they had to cut me open and staple me back.

I get nauseous in the morning when I try to drink water. I've found I don't have that issue from half water half apple juice. So that's what I drunk. Maybe trying around with other stuff?
