  1. How are things going? I have been thinking about you lately. Hope all is well.
  2. I agree that I think I have a healthy fear of dumping. I hope I continue to have that fear. I have eaten some things that are not on my list, but nothing with loads of sugar.
  3. I am lucky if I eat all my protein. I am not supposed to be eating so many veggies yet. Probably can add them in September at next visit
  4. Veggies? What is that?
  5. I am 2 months post op as well. I am glad to see that others are tired as well. I am getting my Vitamins and most of my Protein as well. I am guessing its just part of the process.
  6. I am trying to change my family and their eating habits, but with 2 picky teenagers and a husband who loves to eat, it is a difficult task. I will keep plugging away. Thanks for the response.
  7. Today makes 8 weeks post op for me. I am feeling rather blue. Not sure what's going on. I don't want to eat, but make myself. I am really missing eating normally. It's hard because I am excited about the weight loss, but getting very depressed trying to cook for my whole family. The last two days I have cooked what sounded really good to me and then as I start eating it just tastes nasty. Thanks for letting me whine just a little.
  8. I would try a few different ones. Lots of places online have sample packs. Your taste buds will change after surgery, so don't buy a ton. I am not fond of most powders. I buy mostly GNC Lean Shakes that are premade. It's expensive, but I am not eating fast food or much at all so I splurge.
  9. Thanks! I appreciate the encouragement!
  10. I hit 40 pounds if weight loss yesterday! So excited! Next goal- onederland! I have 26 pounds to reach that.
  11. I may get up the nerve to try it soon.
  12. If you need to tell a friend, then make sure you are confident while talking to them. Speak boldly and confidently and that will help them see that this is what you are doing for you!
  13. I am working so hard to get my protein amounts up. I think the most I have done is 55. I am so sick of protein shakes and things that are sweet! I am stalling right now so I know I have to get those numbers up.
  14. You go, girl!!
  15. You are quite the inspiration! I know you can hit the 100 pound loss before August 9th! I will be waiting to read all about it!
  16. Way to go!!!!
  17. It made me shiver just reading the words "Aqua Boot Camp" I went to Water Yoga today. I really don't feel like I did anything.
  18. Taco meat and retried beans are my "go to" meal. I am at band camp this week and I am having to pack lunch. Hoping I can get all my protein in because I feel like weight loss has slowed down this week.
  19. I found them near the pharmacy on a Kerr Drug store.
  20. I found some Protein chips. They have 12 grams protein. It's not whey isolate, but its better than a normal snack.
